Definitions
- the present invention relates to the field of information processing, and in particular, to a method for inputting characters in a character set using a key, a keyboard, and an information processing apparatus. Background technique
- the English letter or number corresponding to the button appears on the screen.
- a display bar appears on the screen, and the display bar displays the Chinese character having the pinyin, and the user selects a correct Chinese character therefrom.
- buttons representing the numbers 0-9 and buttons representing the symbols "+”, “-", “x”, “ ⁇ ”, " ".
- the user inputs the expression using the keys representing the numbers 0-9 and the keys representing the symbols "+”, "-", "x", “ ⁇ ”.
- a feature of these traditional methods is that a button corresponds to a character.
- the characters in the character set that the user wants to input uniquely correspond to one button, so many buttons are required.
- the number of keys is less than the number of characters in the character set, it will not work. Therefore, the number of technical buttons transmitted using the keys to input characters is large, and the keyboard volume cannot be reduced.
- One solution of the present invention is to multiplex some of the characters in the character set with a single button, and use a limited number of keys to input characters in a more concentrated set of keys than the number of keys.
- the present invention provides a method for inputting characters in a character set by using a button.
- the number of characters in the character set is greater than the number of the buttons.
- the method includes: allocating all the characters in the character set to the button.
- At least one of the keys is assigned a plurality of characters in the set of characters; distinguishing the characters assigned to the at least one of the keys; wherein the combination of the selected characters in the selected set of characters produces the desired complete character.
- the present invention provides a keyboard, including a button for inputting a character in a character set, the number of characters in the character set is greater than the number of the buttons, wherein all the characters in the character set are assigned to the button, At least one of the keys is assigned a plurality of characters in the character set; the characters represented by the at least one key are distinguishable.
- the present invention provides an information processing apparatus, including: a keyboard, including a button for inputting characters in a character set, the number of characters in the character set being greater than the number of the keys, wherein all characters in the character set are all assigned to The button, at least one of the buttons is assigned a plurality of characters in a character set; the characters represented by the at least one button are distinguishable; and the display screen displays a result of inputting characters through the keyboard.
- a keyboard including a button for inputting characters in a character set, the number of characters in the character set being greater than the number of the keys, wherein all characters in the character set are all assigned to The button, at least one of the buttons is assigned a plurality of characters in a character set; the characters represented by the at least one button are distinguishable; and the display screen displays a result of inputting characters through the keyboard.

- Figure 1 is a flow chart of the method of the present invention.
- the present invention provides a method for inputting characters in a character set by using a button.
- the number of characters in the character set is greater than the number of the buttons.
- the method includes: allocating all the characters in the character set to the button S1.
- the at least one of the keys is assigned a plurality of characters in the character set; and the at least one button assigned with the plurality of characters in the character set distinguishes the character S2 represented by the at least one button.
- the following is a discussion of how a button assigned to a plurality of characters in a character set distinguishes the character it represents. The distinction is mainly in two ways:
- buttons 2 are a mode switching mode of a five-dimensional calculator according to Embodiment 1 of the present invention; Example of a button example.
- the display portion of the calculator is not shown, only the button portion is shown.
- the upper button is used to input the number 0, 1/ operation symbol "+”;
- the right button is used to input the number 2, 3/ operation symbol "one”;
- the lower button is used to input the number 4, 5/ operation symbol "X”;
- the left button is used to enter the number 6, 7 / operator " ⁇ ";
- the two function buttons are the mode button and the delete button.
- an arithmetic symbol is entered, which is automatically converted to digital input mode.
- the digital input mode when the interval between two activations of a button is within T, the content of the input is switched, such as: the up button activates the first input 0, if the second activation and the first activation If the time interval is less than T, the input changes to 1. If the time interval between the third activation and the second activation is less than T, since the button can only input the number 0 or 1, the input is changed back to 0, and so on.
- the digital input When the key of the input number is no longer activated within a period of time T, the digital input is considered successful or another key is activated after the number is entered (except for the delete button). The digital input is considered successful.
- Short activate delete button to delete one character entered long activate delete button to delete all characters.
- the short activation delete button means that the duration of the activation of the delete button is less than or equal to the preset duration M.
- the long activation delete button means that the duration of the activation of the delete button is greater than the preset duration M.
- the activation duration of the at least one button is greater than a preset duration M (ie, long activation), then the at least one button is caused to represent a particular character.

- the right button is used to input the number 2, 3/ operation symbol "one”;
- the lower button is used to input the number 4, 5/ operation symbol "X” ;
- the left button is used to enter the number 6, 7 / operator " ⁇ ";
- the middle button is used to enter the number 8, 9 / decimal point ( ⁇ ).
- the two function buttons are the confirmation button and the delete button.
- long activation ie the activation duration of the button is greater than the preset duration M
- short activation ie the activation duration of the button is less than or equal to the preset duration M
- the confirmation button to get the final calculation result.
- the button can only input the number 0 or 1, the input is changed back to 0, and so on.
- the digital input is considered successful, or the key of the input number is activated after the short activation, and the digital input is considered successful, or the other key is activated after the number is entered (delete Except for the button) It is also considered that the digital input is successful. - Short Activate the delete button to delete one character entered long activate the delete button to delete all characters, the concept of short activation and long activation is the same as before. Pressing the long button will display some common characters on the display, including the dialing " ⁇ " and the accent "". Voiced, semi-voiced, and arpeggio input methods are similar to the vowel + digital approach.
- Example input Since the corresponding vowel is ⁇ , activate the right button first. Since the number of strokes is 2, then the right button representing the number 2 is activated. This is the appearance of , , , , 9, and ⁇ on the display. For example, the cursor is now on. Activate the left button once, move one space to the left, and the cursor stops. Activate the confirmation button to confirm. At this point, the input is complete.
