Abstract

The invention relates to a locomotive (1), preferably a shunting locomotive and/or a main-line locomotive, especially a locomotive with a central driver's cab. Said locomotive comprises a locomotive frame (2), a leading front part (3) arranged on the locomotive frame (2) and/or a rear front part (4), and a driver's cab (5) which is adjacent to the leading front part (3) and/or the rear front part (4), preferably a central driver's cab arranged between the leading front part (3) and the rear front part (4). A roof of the driver's cab (5) has a roof overhang (7, 8) on at least one side of the driver's desk, and the roof overhang (7, 8) projects over a front window of the driver's cab (5). According to the invention, at least one flow passage (9, 10) is provided in the roof overhang (7, 8).
