  • the present invention relates to a security tag for persons, comprising a number of plate parts that can be folded in relation to each other, where information about the user is engraved, at least, on the inside of the plate parts that face each other.
  • Security tags in the form of an identification token, identity token, identity disc, i.e. so-called "dog-tag" have been known for a long time, where the tokens show personal information on one of the sides, such as name, date of birth and blood type. It has not been common to equip these with further information.
  • Use of tokens and appliances with domestic animals, especially dogs and cats, are known but there are none that display medical information about the carrier.
  • US 5,503,434 is a credit card that encompasses two parts which are hinged together. Printed on the inside of the plate parts that face each other is information about the card holder. Furthermore, from US 4,984,683 a medallion which is comprised of two parts which are hinged together and where a document containing medical information about the owner is placed on the inside, is known. From US 2003/0106336, it is known to engrave medical information onto a token of identification .
  • Examples of branches can be the military, sailors, offshore, etc., but also employees in less exposed branches can, of course, use the present tag.
  • the present invention concerns a security tag for persons, and which has as an object to be able to be opened only once. The user will be able to detect any unauthorised opening. It appears that US 5,503,434 shows a hinge, but the object of the hinge is that the credit card shall be able to be repeatedly opened and closed. This is contrary to the present invention. Consequently, the problem which is solved by the present invention does not appear in the mentioned documents and can not be developed from said documents either.
  • a security tag as defined in the independent claim 1, in that said information is personal, relevant medical information about the user which is engraved according to international codes for medical terminology and that between the plate parts, a recess, slit, break or the like is provided, for folding the plate parts towards each other, whereby the tag can only be opened once, so that the user will be able to detect an unauthorised opening.
  • the inside of the plate parts preferably comprises engraved medical information, for example, engraved with the help of a laser, so that the information can be read when the plate parts are unfolded in relation to each other.
  • the medical information can contain information about the medical diagnosis, medication, allergy, next of kin, donor status, etc., of the user.
  • the outside of the plate part can comprise the user' s date of birth and/or the international land code to which the user belongs.
  • the plate parts can, when in folded position, be set up to be locked together.

Abstract

La présente invention se rapporte à une étiquette de sécurité pour personnes, comprenant plusieurs parties de plaques (10, 12) qui peuvent être pliées les uns par rapport aux autres, des informations concernant l'utilisateur étant imprimées au moins sur les faces internes desdites parties de plaques (10, 12) placés face à face. Lesdites informations sont des informations médicales pertinentes personnelles concernant l'utilisateur, qui sont gravées selon les codes internationaux de la terminologie médicale, et entre les parties de plaques (10, 12) est ménagé un renfoncement, une fente, une fissure ou similaire (18) permettant de plier les parties de plaques les unes vers les autres, l'étiquette pouvant ainsi n'être ouverte qu'une seule fois si bien que l'utilisateur peut détecter toute ouverture non autorisée.
