Description
PACKING RE-SEPARATING UNIT OF BOOKBINDING SPRING
Technical Field
[1] The present invention relates to a device for separating a packing material of a bookbinding spring, and in particular to a device for separating a packing material of a bookbinding spring which makes it possible to efficiently supply only a bookbinding spring to a bookbinding device by fast and precisely separating a bookbinding spring and a packing material through an automatic process before a bookbinding spring packed with a packing material made of a synthetic resin material, so it is possible to decrease a work time needed for separating a packing material of a bookbinding spring and to enhance a convenience and efficiency in a corresponding work.
[2]
Background Art
[3] Generally, a bookbinding spring is formed in the same shape as or a similar shape to a spring formed in a cylindrical arc shape for thereby binding books.
[4] There are many kinds of bookbinding springs, and they are classified depending on their sale types.
[5] Namely, since a book publication company does not directly produce any bookbinding springs, a bookbinding spring should be purchased from a bookbinding spring manufacturer. In case that a bookbinding spring is consumed in a bulk package, it is sold in a state that a bookbinding spring is wound on a huge bobbin or the something like a reel. The bookbinding spring might be cut and sold in a customized shape depending on a standard paper size for example A4 or A5 in a small or standardized place.
[6] The above bookbinding springs are overlapped in the gaps formed between the neighboring springs, so there are a lot of problems in the actual use of the same. In particular, more problems occur in the course of binding work, so that an interference prevention sheet is wound on the bobbin while surrounding at least three sides.
[7] In addition, it takes a lot of time to rewind on another bobbin after a packing work on one bobbin is finished. The amount of springs to be wound on one bobbin is very limited due to a relatively huge bobbin.
[8] In order to overcome the above problems, the applicant of the present invention has filed Korean patent application number 2008-56347 (Title: A packing device for a bookbinding spring) which is directed to covering a bookbinding spring with a packing material formed of a synthetic resin.
[9] By using the packing device for a bookbinding spring, it is possible to save the recovery cost needed to recovery the used bobbins because the bobbins are not needed in the above device. In addition, it is possible to prevent a work delay problem which might occur due to the work for winding on the bobbins. The springs and each having a certain length that a customer needs can be selectively packed, with the spring being supplied in the packed and accommodated states.
[10] However, in case of the bookbinding spring packed with a certain length, it is needed to separate the bookbinding spring and the packing material from each other before they are supplied to the bookbinding device, so that only the bookbinding springs are supplied to the bookbinding device. So, a worker should manually separate the packing material which was used for packing the bookbinding springs, which causes a lot of inconveniences. In addition, it takes a lot of time to separate the bookbinding spring and the packing material, so workability decreases.
[11] Since the packing material separated from the bookbinding spring is manually separated, the sizes of the separated packing material are not uniform, so a lot of spaces are needed for storing the empty boxes and pockets before discarding the same, which leads to decreasing an efficiency of the work space.
[12]
Disclosure of Invention Technical Problem
[13] Accordingly, it is an object of the present invention to provide a device for separating a packing material of a bookbinding sheet which overcomes the problems encountered in the conventional art.
[14] It is another object of the present invention to provide a device for separating a packing material of a bookbinding sheet which makes it possible to efficiently supply only a bookbinding spring to a bookbinding device by fast and precisely separating a bookbinding spring and a packing material through an automatic process before a bookbinding spring packed with a packing material made of a synthetic resin material, so it is possible to decrease a work time needed for separating a packing material of a bookbinding spring and to enhance a convenience and efficiency in a corresponding work.
[15]
Technical Solution
[16] To achieve the above objects, there is provided a device for separating a packing material of a bookbinding spring which comprises a first guide roller which guides a bookbinding spring of which an outer surrounding surface is packed with a packing material made of a synthetic resin material; a second guide roller which guides a bookbinding spring, which is supplied from the first guide roller, to a separation pin; a separation pin which has a certain length long enough to pass through the inner side of the bookbinding spring 1 supplied from the second guide roller; a cutting blade which is detachably installed by means of a fixing means formed in a lower side of the separation pin and cuts a packing material which surrounds an outer surrounding side of the bookbinding spring; a collection guide roller for collecting the packing material cut by means of the cutting blade; a packing material winding roller on which a packing material supplied from the collection guide roller is wound; a driving means for rotating the collection guide roller and the packing material winding roller; and a spring guide plate for transpiring the bookbinding spring, which is supplied from the separation pin, to the bookbinding device which is installed closely to the outside with the bookbinding spring being disposed thereon.
[17] The fixing means is formed of a holder which includes an accommodation groove for inwardly accommodating a portion of an end of the cutting blade, and an engaging piece for fixing the cutting blade through a bolt engagement while corresponding to the accommodation groove.
[18] The driving member is formed of pulleys axially engaged to a rotary shaft of the collection guide roller and a rotary shaft of the packing material winding roller, respectively, and a driving motor which is connected with the pulleys and a belt(BT), respectively, for thereby externally receiving power and rotating the pulleys.
[19] A close approach sensor is installed in one side of the spring guide plate for detecting a close approach of the bookbinding spring which is transferred to the upper side; and a controller C is installed at one side of an outer surface of the support pole formed in a lower side of the spring guide plate for receiving an electrical signal from the close approach sensor and controlling an ON/OFF of the driving motor.
[20] An accommodation groove is formed in a lower side of the separation pin for inwardly accommodating a certain portion of one end of the cutting blade; and a guide protrusion is protruded from a front lower side of the separation pin, with the cross section of the guide protrusion 34 being gradually increased in the backward direction, so the packing material supplied from the second guide roller can be guided and cut by means of the blade portions of the cutting blade.
[21]
Advantageous Effects
[22] In the present invention, with the use of a packing material separating device of a bookbinding spring according to the present invention, the bookbinding spring is easily separated from the packing device and is supplied to the bookbinding device, so it is possible to significantly decrease a separation work time of the packing material from the bookbinding spring, and a work efficiency and convenience can be productively enhanced. [50] Here, the packing material winding roller 50 is installed in an upper side of the body plate 5, so that the packing material 2 supplied from the collection guide roller 40 can be wound with the helps of the rotations.
[51] The collection guide roller 40 and the packing material winding roller 50 are rotated by means of a driving member.
[52] The driving member is formed of pulleys 44 and 45 axially engaged to a rotary shaft of the collection guide roller 40 and a rotary shaft 52 of the packing material winding roller 50, respectively, and a driving motor 70 which is connected with the pulleys 44 and 54 and a belt(BT), respectively, for thereby externally receiving power and rotating the pulleys 44 and 54.
[53] A driving pulley 74 is axially engaged to the driving motor 70, and the driving motor
70 rotates as the pulleys 44 and 54 and the belt BT are drivingly connected.
[54] A spring guide plate 60 is installed in a rear side of the collection guide roller 40 for guide and transferring the bookbinding spring 1 to the bookbinding device with the bookbinding spring 1 being placed on the bookbinding device.
[55] A close approach sensor 62 is installed in one side of the spring guide plate 60 for detecting a close approach of the bookbinding spring which is transferred to the upper side.
[56] A controller C is installed at one side of an outer surface of the support pole 7 formed in a lower side of the spring guide plate 60 for receiving an electrical signal from the close approach sensor 62 and controlling an ON/OFF of the driving motor 70.
[57] The distance between the close approach sensor 62 and the bookbinding spring 1 transferred to the upper side of the close approach sensor 62 changes depending on the operation state of the bookbinding device(not shown) installed closer to the separation device according to the present invention. Namely, when the bookbinding spring 1 is supplied to the bookbinding device, the distance between the bookbinding spring 1 and the close sensor 62 becomes more distant, and on the contrary when the bookbinding device does not operate, the distance between the bookbinding spring 1 and the close approach sensor 62 becomes closer, so that the ON/OFF operation of the driving motor 70 is controlled by means of the controller C using the distance difference.
[58] In the present invention, the bookbinding spring 1 and the packing material 2 can be reliably and fast separated through an automatic process before the bookbinding spring 1 packed with the synthetic resin packing material 2 is supplied to the bookbinding device, so that only the bookbinding spring 1 can be efficiently supplied to the bookbinding device for thereby decreasing a work time needed for separating the packing material 2 of the bookbinding spring 1, and work convenience and efficiency can be significantly enhanced.
[59] Industrial Applicability
[60] As described above, with the use of a packing material separating device of a bookbinding spring according to the present invention, the bookbinding spring is easily separated from the packing device and is supplied to the bookbinding device, so it is possible to significantly decrease a separation work time of the packing material from the bookbinding spring, and a work efficiency and convenience can be productively enhanced.
[61] As the present invention may be embodied in several forms without departing from the spirit or essential characteristics thereof, it should also be understood that the above-described examples are not limited by any of the details of the foregoing description, unless otherwise specified, but rather should be construed broadly within its spirit and scope as defined in the appended claims, and therefore all changes and modifications that fall within the meets and bounds of the claims, or equivalences of such meets and bounds are therefore intended to be embraced by the appended claims.
