Abstract

A bulkhead structure of a container carrier using cross beams is disclosed. The bulkhead structure includes vertical webs vertically installed in a cargo hold of a vessel in such a way as to be spaced apart from each other at the interval of two or more containers. Horizontal stringers are installed to cross the vertical webs and layered in the height direction of the cargo hold in such a way as to be spaced apart from each other at the interval of the height of two or more containers. Cell guides are perpendicular to the horizontal stringers to guide and secure the containers. Each cross beam is installed in the transverse direction of the cargo hold in such a way that one end of the cross beam is secured to an associated cell guide and the other end is secured to an associated vertical web.
