Abstract

본 발명은 내연기관의 엔진룸 자체에 엔진 소음 반사 및 송풍 팬을 설치하여 엔진 소음은 상쇄시키고 엔진의 배기가스는 순방향으로 배출 파이프로 향하게 함으로써, 배압 가능성을 제거하여 엔진의 구동출력을 증가할 수 있는 내연기관용 로터리 머플러 및 이를 구비한 내연기관용 엔진에 관한 것이다. 상기 로터리 머플러가 내장된 내연기관용 엔진은, 엔진의 배기 밸브로부터 방출되는 배기가스가 통과되는 배기가스 통과부와; 상기 배기가스 통과부 사이에 연통(連通)되어 유입된 배출가스를 소음(消音)시켜 외부의 배출파이프로 배출하며, 상기 배기가스의 흐름 방향에 직각되면서 순차적으로 접하는 평면을 갖는 다수의 방사상(放射狀)의 날개가 형성되는 엔진 소음 반사 및 송풍 팬과, 상기 엔진 소음 반사 및 송풍 팬을 사방에서 근접하여 둘러싸는 커버로 이루어지는 로터리 머플러(消音器)로 이루어진다. 또한, 본 발명은 기존의 터보 차져 엔진의 터빈을 엔진 소음 반사 및 송풍 팬으로 대체 설치함으로써, 엔진의 출력을 높임과 동시에, 별도의 고정 소음 반사판을 배제하여 배압 가능성을 제거해 엔진의 구동출력을 이중(二重)으로 증가할 수 있는 로터리 머플러가 내장된 내연기관용 터보 차저(turbocharger) 엔진를 제공한다.
