Description

Description
METHOD OF PROCESSING GOOD ORDER THROUGH INTERNET SITE FOR PREVENTING THE CUSTOMER INFORMATION OUTFLOW AND SYSTEM THEREOF
Technical Field
[1] The present invention relates to a method and a system of processing a goods order through an Internet site for preventing outflow of customer information, and more particularly, to a method and a system of preventing outflow of customer information which may occur when customer information input for a goods order in an Internet shopping mall is unavoidably transmitted to co-work companies including a supplier and a deliverer in the course of processing the goods order. Background Art
[2] With recent rapid development of Internet environments, conventional goods- purchase systems have undergone sudden changes. In the past, goods purchase was directly conducted between a consumer and a seller. That is, goods purchase was conducted in such a manner that a consumer who intends to purchase goods visits a seller, chooses his desired goods and receives the chosen goods. However, in recent years, a commercial transaction through Internet is becoming more common. The Internet commercial transaction has the following merits:
[3] First, since a customer may have to choose his desired goods through an Internet site, he spends less time and effort for goods purchase.
[4] Second, since only an Internet site may be established without establishment of a shop, a business man can reduce costs for running of business. This may lead to falling of goods price, thereby allowing a consumer to purchase more reasonable-priced goods.
[5] Of course, the Internet commercial transaction does not have only such merits. For example, since a customer can not purchase goods with direct confirmation of the goods, he may have a low level of satisfaction to goods received by him.
[6] However, the Internet commercial transaction is spreading rapidly because of many merits including the above-mentioned merits.
[7] Five subjects, i.e., an orderer, an Internet shopping mall, a supplier, a deliverer and a receiver, are involved in the Internet commercial transaction.
[8] The orderer refers to a consumer who orders goods and the receiver refers to a consumer who takes goods.
[9] In the meantime, in the Internet commercial transaction, a business subject, a supply subject and a transport subject are seperated from each other. The Internet shopping mall is the subject that sells goods to an orderer. In this case, the supply subject that supplies goods to the Internet shopping mall corresponds to the supplier and the transport subject that delivers goods, which is supplied by the supplier, to a customer corresponds to the deliverer. In this manner, since a variety of subjects is involved in the Internet commercial transaction, there may exist various forms of Internet commercial transactions. Examples of the most popular business systems are as follows.
[10] The first is a business system in which a supplier appoints a deliverer. This business system has a contract relation between an Internet shopping mall and a supplier and another contract relation between the supplier and a deliverer. In this case, this business system has no contract relation between the Internet shopping mall and the deliverer.
[11] The second is a business system in which an Internet shopping mall appoints a deliverer. This business system has a contract relation between the Internet shopping mall and a supplier and another contract relation between the Internet shopping mall and a deliverer.
[12] Now, goods transaction in these representative business systems will be described in detail below. These first and second business systems are shown in Figs. 1 and 2, respectively.
[13] FIG. 1 is a view showing a series of processes from ordering goods through an
Internet shopping mall to delivering the ordered goods from a deliverer appointed by a supplier to a consumer.
[14] An orderer 100 who wishes to purchase goods being sold in the Internet shopping mall 200 causes customer order information to be received through a site of the Internet shopping mall 200 (SlOl). In this case, the orderer 100 prepares the customer order information according to a format, which is provided by the site of the Internet shopping mall 200 and may be varied depending on the Internet shopping mall 200.
[15] The customer order information may include orderer information, receiver information, goods information and other information.
[16] The orderer information refers to information related to an orderer 100, that is, a consumer who orders goods.
[17] The receiver information refers to information related to a receiver 500, that is, a consumer who will take goods.
[18] In this case, the orderer information may be equal to or different from the receiver information. For example, if the orderer prepares the customer order information for delivery of goods to himself, the orderer information is equal to the receiver information. On the other hand, if the orderer prepares the customer order information for delivery of goods to a third party other than the orderer, the orderer information is different from the receiver information.
[19] The goods information refers to information related to goods chosen by the orderer, including a goods serial number, options related to the goods (for example, dimension, color and so on for ordered clothes), etc.
[20] Upon receiving the prepared customer order information through the site of the
Internet shopping mall 200, the Internet shopping mall 200 generates goods order information based on the received customer order information (S 102). The goods order information is generated so as for the Internet shopping mall 200 to request a supplier 300 to supply the goods, and is distinguished from the above-mentioned customer order information.
[21] The Internet shopping mall 200 sends the generated goods order information to the supplier 300 (S 103). In this case, the supplier 300 receives the goods order information and transfers the received goods order information to a deliverer 400 appointed by the supplier 300.
[22] In FIG. 1, since the supplier 300 appoints the deliverer 400, the Internet shopping mall 200 can not know which deliverer 400 is to deliver the goods. Accordingly, the goods order information is transferred through the supplier 300 to the deliverer 400.
[23] The deliverer 400 grants a waybill number to the goods order information before delivery of the goods and generates a waybill based on information related to the waybill number (S 105). The generated waybill is stored in a server of the deliverer 400 for later output through Internet.
[24] In this case, the supplier 300 selects goods which meets the goods order information.
At the same time, the supplier 300 outputs the waybill which meets the goods order information through an Internet site of the deliverer 400 (S 106). The supplier 300 attaches the output waybill to the goods to be delivered to the receiver 500.
[25] The supplier 300 transfers the goods attached with the waybill to the deliverer 400
(S 107). The deliverer 400 gathers goods which are requested to be delivered from many suppliers 300.
[26] In this case, the deliverer 400 sends the waybill number to the supplier 300 after start of delivery (S 108), and the supplier 300 received this waybill number transfers information on the waybill number to the Internet shopping mall 200 after start of delivery (S 109).
[27] The deliverer 400 delivers the goods to the receiver 500 based on the waybill information (SI lO). Hereby, the goods delivery processes are all ended.
[28] FIG. 2 is a view showing a series of processes from ordering goods through an
Internet shopping mall to delivering the ordered goods from a deliverer appointed by the Internet shopping mall to a consumer.
[29] An orderer 100 who wishes to purchase goods being sold in the Internet shopping mall 200 causes customer order information to be received through a site of the Internet shopping mall 200 (S201).
[30] Upon receiving the customer order information through the site of the Internet shopping mall 200, the Internet shopping mall 200 generates goods order information based on the received customer order information (S202).
[31] The Internet shopping mall 200 sends the generated goods order information to a supplier 300. At the same time, the Internet shopping mall 200 also sends the generated goods order information to a deliverer 400 (S203). In FIG. 2, the Internet shopping mall 200 directly appoints the deliverer 400 to deliver the goods. Accordingly, the goods order information is directly sent to the deliverer 400 without passing through the supplier 300, unlike FIG. 1.
[32] The deliverer 400 grants a waybill number to the goods order information before delivery of the goods and generates a waybill based on information related to the waybill number (S204). The generated waybill is stored in a server of the deliverer 400 for later output through Internet.
[33] The supplier 300 selects goods which meets the goods order information. At the same time, the supplier 300 outputs the waybill which meets the goods order information through an Internet site of the deliverer 400 (S205). The supplier 300 attaches the output waybill to the goods to be delivered to the receiver 500.
[34] The deliverer 400 gathers goods attached with the waybill (S206). Thereafter, the deliverer 400 sends information on the waybill number to the supplier 300 and the Internet shopping mall 200 at once after start of delivery (S207).
[35] The deliverer 400 delivers the goods to the receiver based on the waybill information
(S208). Hereby, the goods delivery processes are all ended.
[36] As described above, the Internet commercial transaction requires the complicated processes among a variety of subjects including the business subject, the supply subject, the transport subject and so on.
[37] In this case, the above respective subjects have to know the customer order information in order to deliver the goods to the purchaser. For example, in order for the supplier to pick up goods matching the goods ordered by the purchaser and for the deliverer to deliver the ordered goods to the receiver correctly, they have to know the customer order information correctly.
[38] The Internet shopping mall provides the customer order information to the co-work companies for smooth processing of the goods order. For example, the Internet shopping mall provides the customer order information in the form of an electronic document to the co-work companies or stores the customer order information in its server so that the co-work companies can inquire or download the customer order information through an access to the site of the Internet shopping mall. Thereafter, the co-work companies including the supplier, the deliverer and so on collectively receive the customer order information related to the goods delivery from the Internet shopping mall or download this information from the site of the Internet shopping mall. Further, the co-work companies store the customer order information and related information in their respective systems for order processing and delivery of the goods.
[39] At present, a number of co-work compamies of Internet shopping malls manages customer order information and related information through their respective systems. In addition, a number of staffs employed in the co-work companies handles the information. Accordingly, due to such difficulty in mangement, the customer order information may be used for other purpose out of the order processing belonging to the inherent use range or may be outflown in quantities by intention or negligence of staffs.
[40] In addition, while the co-work companies receive the customer order information in the form of an electronic document without security mechanisms (for example, Public Key Infrastructure (PKI), etc.), ill-purposed third parties may hack the customer order information. In this case, the outflown customer order information may be misused for voice phishing, spam mail transmission, various crimes, etc., which cause social problems, which may result in severe damage to consumers. Disclosure of Invention

[66] Hereinafter, exemplary embodiments of the invention will be described with reference to the accompanying drawings so that those skilled in the art can easily practice the present invention. The present invention is not limited to the exemplary embodiments but may be implemented in various different ways.
[67] FIG. 3 is a view showing a configuration of a service provision server, co-work company servers and an output apparatus according to an embodiment of the invention.
[68] A service provision server 310 provides a variety of services to co-work company servers 320 and 330 or users and may be, for example, an Internet shopping mall 200 or the like. In the present invention, it is assumed that the service provision server 310 is the Internet shopping mall 200.
[69] The service provision server 310 communicates with co-work company server 1 320 and co- work company server 2 330 through wired/wireless networks. In this case, co- work company server 1 320 and co-work company server 2 330 may be, for example, the supplier 300 (Figs. 1 and 2) and the deliverer 400 (Figs. 1 and 2), respectively. Although FIG. 3 shows only two co-work company servers, the number of co-work company servers may increase with increase in the number of subjects related to Internet commercial transaction, as described earlier. The service provision server 310 transfers goods ordered by the orderer 100 (FIGS. 1 and 2) to the receiver 500 (FIGS. 1 and 2) through the supplier 300 or the deliverer 400. In this case, the service provision server 310 includes a central processing unit 312 and a communicating unit 314.
[70] Upon receving a goods order through an Internet site, the central processing unit 312 generates goods order information except personal information of customer order information. Accordingly, unlike the conventional systems, the goods order information does not include personal information of the orderer and personal information of the receiver. The goods order information will be described in more detail later with reference to FIG. 4.
[71] In the meantime, upon receiving a waybill number from the co-work company server
1 320 or the co-work company server 2 330 later, the central processing unit 312 generates a waybill including the customer order information and the received waybill number.
[72] The waybill is attached to the goods and then the deliverer 400 delivers the goods to the receiver 500 based on the waybill information. In this case, accordingly, the central processing unit 312 prepares the waybill including the customer order information other than the goods order information. In other words, personal information of the customer is not included in the goods order information prepared in the present invention.
[73] The communicating unit 314 communicates with the co-work company server 1 320 or the co- work company server 2 330. In this case, the communicating unit 314 transfers the generated goods order information to the co-work company server 1 320 or the co- work company server 2 330. In addition, the communicating unit 314 receives the waybill number, which is granted to the goods order information by the co-work company server 320 or 330, from the co-work company server 320 or 330.
[74] The communicating unit 314 transfers output information causing the waybill information to be indicated on a document to the output apparatus 340. In this case, the output apparatus 340 may be an output apparatus connected to the service provision server 310 or an output apparatus connected to the co-work company servers 320 and 330.
[75] As described earlier, in the present invention, the personal information of the orderer
100 and the personal information of the receiver 500 are not provided to the co-work company server 320 or 330. That is, only the service provision server 310 possesses the personal information. Accordingly, in the present invention, the waybill has to be output through the service provision server 310.
[76] The co- work company server 320 or 330 processes the goods order through the
Internet site. In this case, the co-work company server 1 320 includes a central processing unit 322 and a communicating unit 324.
[77] The central processing unit 322 receives the goods order information except the personal information of the customer order information from the service provision server 310. In this case, the waybill number is granted to the goods order information.
[78] The communicating unit 324 receives the goods order information from the service provision server 310. In addition, the communicating unit 324 transfers the waybill number, which is granted to the goods order information received by the central processing unit 322, to the service provision server 310.
[79] In the conventional systems, the co-work company server 320 or 330 also could output the waybill. That is, the waybill information was transferred to the co-work company servers 320 and 330. However, in the present invention, the waybill information is not transferred to the co-work company servers 320 and 330. That is, the waybill can be output only through the output apparatus 340 (which may be the output apparatus connected to the service provision server 310 or the output apparatus connected to the co-work company servers 320 and 330). Accordingly, since the personal information of the customer is indicated only on the waybill which is a printed matter, outflow of the personal information of the customer can be prevented.
[80] Further, in this case, if the goods are to be delivered through inquiry of the waybill number information at the point of time of final delivery using a digital equipment (for example, a personal digital assistant (PDA), a mobile phone, etc.), the goods can be delivered without indicating the customer information on the waybill. That is, the waybill information can be transferred to a mobile terminal 350 authenticated by the co- work company servers 320 and 330 or the service provision server 310.
[81] The output apparatus 340 includes an output unit 346 and may be connected to the service provision server 310, the co-work company servers 320 and 330, etc. Upon receiving the output information causing the waybill information to be indicated on a document from the service provision server 310, the output unit 346 outputs the waybill information in the form of a document.
[82] In the meantime, the output apparatus 340 can communicate with the service provision server 310 in order to output the waybill which meets the goods order information.
[83] In the present invention, although it is assumed that the output apparatus 340 is separated from the service provision server 310, the output apparatus 340 may be incorporated in the service provision server 310.
[84] FIG. 4 is a view showing the goods order information prepared in the present invention.
[85] Upon receiving the customer order information through a site of the Internet shopping mall 200, the Internet shopping mall 200 generates the goods order information based on the received customer order information.
[86] The customer order information may be divided into order-related information, personal information of the orderer, personal information of the receiver, delivery- related information and other information. But, such division of the customer order information may be varied depending on the Internet shopping mall 200 or a group of goods.
[87] The order-related information is information required for each subject of the Internet commercial transaction to process the order, including an order serial number 401, an Internet shopping mall name 402, an order date 403, an order goods code 404, a goods name 405, quantity 406, cost 407, option 408, etc.
[88] The personal information of the orderer may include the orderer's name, address, resident registration number, wired telephone number, wireless telephone number and so on.
[89] The personal information of the receiver may include the receiver's name, address, wired telephone number, wireless telephone number and so on.
[90] The deli very -related information may be information related to a delivery cost 409, a delivery desire date 410 and so on.
[91] Finally, other information may be a remark in which special requirement or notice is described.
[92] In the present invention, the goods order information is generated using only the remaining information except the personal information of the customer order information. That is, the personal information of the orderer and the personal information of the receiver are not included in the goods order information.
[93] Referring to FIG. 4, it can be seen that the personal information is excluded from the goods order information. In the present invention, since the goods order information shown in FIG. 4 is transferred to the supplier 300 or the deliverer 400, there is no possibility of outflow of the personal information of the customer.
[94] Now, according to an embodiment of the present invention, a series of processes in which the respective subjects process the goods order will be described in detail with reference to Figs. 5, 6 and 7. Figs. 5, 6 and 7 show an order processing at the Internet shopping mall, an order processing at the supplier and an order processing at the deliverer, respectively.
[95] FIG. 5 is a view showing an order processing at the Internet shopping mall in Internet goods transaction according an embodiment of the invention.
[96] The Internet shopping mall 200 receives the customer order information from the orderer 100 through the Internet site (S501). In this case, the Internet shopping mall 200 grants an order serial number to the customer order information.
[97] The Internet shopping mall 200 generates the goods order information. In this case, the Internet shopping mall 200 prepares the goods order information using only the remaining information except the personal information of the customer order information (S502).
[98] The Internet shopping mall 200 determines whether or not the Internet shopping mall
200 directly appoints the deliverer 400 (S503). Operation S503 is provided since a subject to which information related to process the goods order is transferred may be varied depending on whether the deliverer 400 is appointed by the Internet shopping mall 200 or the supplier 300.
[99] If the deliverer 400 appointed by the Internet shopping mall 200 is to deliver the goods, the Internet shopping mall 200 sends the goods order information to the supplier 300 and the deliverer 400 at once.
[100] Thereafter, the Internet shopping mall 200 receives information on a waybill number before start of delivery from the deliverer 400(S505).
[101] The waybill number before start of delivery refers to a waybill number at a stage before the deliverer 400 collects the goods attached with the waybill after granting the waybill number to the goods order information received from the Internet shopping mall 200 or the supplier 300.
[102] On the other hand, a waybill number after start of delivery refers to waybill number at a stage when the deliverer 400 starts to deliver the goods after collecting the goods attached with the waybill.
[103] The waybill number before start of delivery and the waybill number after start of delivery are nothing but numbers conveniently granted for a series of operations for order information processing, packing, delivery, settlement of accounts, inventory control, demand prediction, etc. between the Internet shopping mall 200, the supplier 300 and the deliverer 400. In the following description, the waybill number before start of delivery and the waybill number after start of delivery will be not further described.
[104] Upon receiving the information on the waybill number before start of delivery from the deliverer 400, the Internet shopping mall 200 generates the waybill (S506). Thereafter, the Internet shopping mall 200 receives the information on the waybill number after start of delivery from the deliverer 400 (S507).
[105] If it is determined at Operation S503 that the deliverer 400 appointed by the supplier 300 is to deliver the goods, the Internet shopping mall 200 sends the goods order information to only the supplier 300 (S514).
[106] Thereafter, the Internet shopping mall 200 receives the information on the waybill number before start of delivery and a deliverer name from the supplier 300 (S515). Since the supplier 300 appoints the deliverer 400, the Internet shopping mall 200 can not know the information on the deliverer 400 to deliver the goods. Accordingly, the supplier 300 sends the information on the deliverer name along with the waybill number before start of delivery.
[107] Upon receiving the information on the waybill number before start of delivery and the deliverer name, the Internet shopping mall 200 prepares the waybill (S516). Thereafter, the Internet shopping mall 200 receives the information on the waybill number after start of delivery from the supplier 300 (S517).
[108] The Internet shopping mall 200 sends the output information causing the waybill information to be indicated on a document to the output apparatus 340 (S508). In this case, the output apparatus 340 may be an output apparatus connected to the Internet shopping mall 200 or an output apparatus connected to the co-work company servers.
[109] FIG. 6 is a view showing an order processing at the supplier in Internet goods transaction according an embodiment of the invention.
