Abstract

본 발명은 가스 사용기기의 가스 흐름을 제어하는 자동 가스차단장치에 관한 것이다. 기존의 가정 혹은 영업장의 가스기기에 공급되는 LNG 혹은 LPG 가스의 공급여부를 기계식 가스밸브를 사용하여 수동으로 조작하지만, 본 발명의 자동 가스차단장치는 장치 내에 소형 DC 모터와 기어로 이루어진 기어박스와 연결된 원형기어에 가스밸브의 회전축 돌출부를 접속하여, DC 모터의 회전력으로 가스밸브를 90도 회전시켜 가스밸브를 개폐할 수 있는 장치이다. 이와함께 가스누설이나 화재발생 경우도 자동적으로 가스를 차단하는 기능, 사용시간 설정기능, 그리고 정상작동 여부표시의 부가적인 기능을 갖도록 하는 자동 가스차단장치에 관한 것이다.
