Da es sich bei dem Ausführungsbeispiel um einen kippbaren Ofen handelt (O- fenwiege 8 in Fig. 1) sind zusätzlich zu den jeweils drei Lagerelementen 30, 31, 32 bzw. 33, 34, 35 weitere ringsektorförmige Lagerelemente 36, 37 bzw. 38, 39 vorgesehen, die, da sie nur beim Kippen belastet werden, einfacher und ohne Druckmittelzufuhr ausgebildet werden können. Bei nicht kippbaren Öfen ist es ausreichend, wenn jeweils am Ort der wirkenden Stützkraft wenigstens ein Lagerelement des anhand der Fig. 6 und 7 beschriebenen Aufbaus an den Stellen vorgesehen wird, an denen sich der Hubzylinder 5 am Stützrohr 6 abstützt.
Fig. 6 stellt den Ausschnitt VI von Fig. 3 ohne die Lagerelemente und Fig. 7 einen Ausschnitt mit einem Lagerelement dar. Das in Fig. 7 dargestellte ringsektorförmige Lagerelement 31 enthält einen Quader 40 aus Stahl, der mittels eines Gewindebolzens 41 an einer Verschlussplatte 42 befestigt ist. Auf der zur Verschlussplatte 42 entgegengesetzten Seite ist eine Lagerplatte 43 angebracht, die auf der zum Stützzylinder 4 weisenden Seite 44 eine Kunststoffschicht als Gleitschicht aufweist.
