Abstract

La présente invention concerne un dispositif permettant de diagnostiquer l'otite moyenne exsudative (otite moyenne avec effusion). Le dispositif génère des ondes ultrasonores et utilise les ondes réfléchies résultantes. Ainsi, le dispositif non seulement permet de diagnostiquer l'otite moyenne exsudative et de confirmer avec exactitude le site d'inflammation par une imagerie bidimensionnelle ou tridimensionnelle, mais évite également complètement de causer une quelconque douleur pendant l'examen. L'invention concerne également une sonde ultrasonore du type utilisé pour placer un support dans l'oreille, insérer un module capteur dans le support pour générer des ondes ultrasonores d'une fréquence préétablie, et recevoir des ondes réfléchies et les réfléchir. Elle concerne en outre un module de commande qui permet de déterminer l'otite moyenne exsudative en utilisant la forme des ondes ultrasonores réfléchies reçues de la sonde ultrasonore.
