Description
Vorrichtung und Verfahren zur Entwässerung einer Faserstoffbahn Device and method for dewatering a fibrous web
Daran schließen sich dann ein oder mehrereThe invention relates to a device for dewatering a fibrous web, for example a pulp or paper web, wherein at least one pressing zone and at least one infrared heating device are provided. DiePresses that mechanically drain the web. For a complete drying but still a thermal dryer is required, which requires a large amount of energy. Therefore, tests were repeatedly made with a wide variety of heating devices. For example, AT 394 739 proposes to use steam boxes and opposite suction boxes. The
The idea that the viscosity of the water is reduced by a heated web and therefore the water can be pressed out more easily has also been known for some time. For example, EP 0 868 567 describes a system in which heating devices are provided in relation to a suction roll. However, after one or more mechanical presses, the web is already compressed so that e.g. no further water can be expelled by steam, but on the contrary condenses the steam in the surface of the fibrous web and thus rewet the web. The aim of the invention is therefore to provide a system and a method in which a high dry content is achieved by mechanical dewatering in order to make better use of the available drying capacity of the subsequent dryer can.
Die Erfindung betrifft auch ein Verfahren zur Entwässerung einer Faserstoffbahn, beispielsweise Zellstoff- oder Papierbahn , wobei die Bahn durch mindestens eineThe invention is therefore characterized in that two infrared heaters are arranged on opposite sides of the web and before the last press zone. By two infrared heaters on opposite sides of the web, a uniform heating of the fibrous web can be achieved, the arrangement before the last press zone allows further mechanical dewatering even with already very compressed web. It has proven particularly favorable if the web is guided into a thermal dryer after the last press zone. Thus, not only the higher dry content but also the heat of the web can increase the drying capacity of the entire production line. It is advantageous if the two infrared heaters are divided into several zones, which are connected to separate Energieanpeisungen. As a result, the transverse profile of the web moisture can be controlled in a simple manner. As trained gas radiator infrared heaters can be used favorably for relatively thin fibrous webs, eg in a paper machine, while if the infrared heaters are designed as electric heaters they can be used especially for thicker fibrous webs, eg pulp webs for pulp production. Thus, a more uniform heating of the web mass can be achieved. The invention also relates to a method for dewatering a fibrous web, for example a pulp or paper web, wherein the web passes through at least one
Press zone and at least one infrared heater is passed, which is characterized in that the web by two infrared heaters, which are arranged on opposite sides and before the last press zone, warmed and dewatered in the last press zone. The heating takes place here at a position at which the fibrous web is guided in the free train.
Die Erfindung wird nun anhand der Zeichnung beispielhaft beschrieben, wobeiIf the web is subjected to a thermal drying in a dryer after dewatering in the last press zone, the drying capacity of the entire production line can be increased in a particularly favorable manner. The invention will now be described by way of example with reference to the drawing, in which

Anschließend daran ist eineIn the example of a pulp dewatering plant, the pulp suspension is fed to a first dewatering part 1 via a headbox 2 between a top wire and a bottom wire. The headbox 2 can be optionally equipped with or without basis weight cross profile control. In the first Drainage zone 1 extend the upper wire 3 and the lower wire 4 in the region 5 in a wedge shape to each other. This is also called a wedge zone. The pulp web produced is guided here between the two endless screens. The web thickness is usually between 5 and 20 mm. Subsequently, the fabric is only more on the lower wire and is to a warm-up, which consists either of a hot water application or a steam blower box 7 on the fibrous web or pulp web and an associated suction box under the underlying sieve out. The web heating reduces the viscosity of the water contained in the fibrous web and thus promotes dewatering in the subsequent press. At the end of the lower wire 4, a shoe press roller 8 is provided by way of example here, over which a felt 9 runs. Due to the revolving felt, the squeezed-out water is absorbed into the felt and can therefore be better transported away from the fibrous web. As counter-roller in the lower wire 4, a dewatering roller 10 is provided. After that is one
Shoe press unit 11 is provided which consists of a shoe roll 12 and a counter-roller 13. Again, an upper felt 14 and a lower felt 15 are provided, which is guided over the respective rollers. With systems of this type, dry contents of approximately 53% can be achieved today after the second press 11 and before the thermal dryer 18.
Here, the pressing unit 11 represents the last pressing zone. In front of this pressing zone, an upper IR heating element 19 is arranged above the track 16 and a lower IR heating element 20 below the track 16. The last press zone can have any form of press such as a roller press, a high-pressure press, a shoe press, a vacuumed press or a cycle press. The web runs in the area of the IR heating elements as a free train, ie it is not supported here by felts or sieves. As a result, the energy can be introduced directly into the web. These heating elements can be supplied with gas or electrical energy. With gas-operated heating elements, infrared temperatures of approx. 900 - 1100 0 C can be achieved. The wavelength is here between about 2.5 and 3.5 microns. For electrically operated heating elements, the infrared temperature is not limited by the combustion gas. However, the IR absorbency is in water or Pulp with a wavelength of about 1 micron limited, which corresponds to a temperature of about 2600 0 C. An optimum results with electrical IR energy at a temperature in the range of about 2000 ° C. The optimum wavelength is between 1.2 μm and 2.1 μm, it being found that a wave length of about 1.35 μm is particularly favorable. A homogeneous temperature distribution in the z-direction of the web 16 (web thickness) can only be achieved if the IR (infrared) heating takes place simultaneously from above 19 and below 20 of the pulp web 16. For thin fibrous webs, the infrared penetration in the case of gas radiators is sufficient to achieve a uniform temperature of the web in the z-direction, whereas an infrared heater as an electro-emitter is effective for exact heat development in the corresponding layer with thicker fibrous webs.
Fig. 3 shows a schematic representation of the arrangement of the infrared (IR) heaters 19, 20, 11 prior to the last press zone, the web temperature without heating here is about 60 0 C. The inventive arrangement from opposite infrared (IR) heaters 19, 20 The web temperature can be increased to 75 - 80 0 C. Maximum temperature increases of approx. 25 ° C. were measured. This increase in temperature results in an increase in the dry content after the last press zone by about 1 - 2% points and sometimes more depending on the type of pulp. This results in a possible increase in production of about 5 - 10%. The increased web temperature leads to a further increase in production of approx. 3 - 5% with a constant dryer output. Alternatively, of course, the energy used in the thermal dryer can be reduced accordingly. Since the conversion of the energy in the infrared heating is not complete, but also energy losses occur through a necessary cooling, it can be assumed that the required cooling air is heated from ambient temperature to about 120 - 140 0 C. This air can now also be supplied to the thermal dryer, which further energy for the dryer can be saved.
When using infrared (IR) heaters before previous press zones than the last one, the energy is absorbed in the water which is still abundant there, and thus only a small increase in the dry content and the web temperature can be achieved. When used according to the invention before In the last press zone, the energy can be used as best as possible and, by using the heat of the cooling air, the energy consumption of the thermal dryer can be substantially reduced or the production can be substantially increased. The invention is based essentially on the effect that the compressibility of the pulp web increases significantly at a higher temperature. This gained compressibility together with a lower viscosity of the water is used in the press for higher water reduction.
