Definitions
- the present invention falls within the sector of the technique competent to the manufacture of footwear as well as the medical-sanitary sectors. There is no known background to this invention.
- footwear is sanitized through the use of aerosols, and powder preparations whose composition contains fungicidal principles, among others, in order to improve hygiene while also preventing the proliferation of germs and bacteria that cause odor.
- the present invention offers an aseptic guarantee by means of the irradiation of at least one source of ultraviolet and / or ozone generating light in footwear and feet, since a very large number of microorganisms can be eliminated by this radiation, whose effect is of well known and collected in the medical literature.
- the new disinfection device for feet and footwear comprises at least one source of ultraviolet and / or ozone generating radiation (1a), which radiates from inside the footwear while said emitters are immersed in the footwear in the manufacturing process (figure 1) , these radiation emitters will have their wiring in their shoes as well as their conventional power supply (3) and switching.
- the radiation can also be guided through a material of an optical luminoconductive nature (2a) ( Figure 2), said fibers of an optical luminoconductive nature will form part of the material constituting the footwear.
- This source of radiation (1b) being internal to the shoe (figure 2), or being housed in an external device (5) (figure 3), which will comprise the source of radiation (1c), as well as its power supply and circuit of conventional activation, said device will be solidly fixed to the footwear by means of a conventional procedure such as "sailboat", adhesive bonding, or mechanical fixation, which ensures a correct fixation even in sports activities.
- Said device (5) will connect the source of
- Versions of the foot and footwear disinfection device are planned in which at least one source of ultraviolet and / or ozone generating light (1d) (figures 4 and 5) is integrated into a conventional template (7), which will have its relevant conventional power supply (3) and switching, another version where the device transmits said radiation from at least one radiating source (1e) through a network of fibers of a luminoconductive nature (2c)
- the template constitution material being preferably permeable to said radiation in order to obtain a homogeneity in the diffusion of the radiation source, it will also have its relevant power supply (3) and switching.
- Such disinfection devices for feet and footwear may be integrated into the footwear at the time of manufacture, or be removable and placed afterwards (figure 7).
- Versions of the disinfection device for feet and footwear are provided in which the ultraviolet and / or ozone generating light radiation is diffused in a sock (8) (figures 8 and 9), the source of emitting radiation (1f ) integrated in the sock (figure 8), or the sock be made with at least one group of luminoconductive optical fibers (2d) that will diffuse the radiation source (1g) from an external device (10) (figure 10) that is couple the sock (figure 11) in close contact with a portion of the sock where the luminoconductive fibers of the latter (9) will meet.
- the conventional power supply (3) and switching power supply will be available.
- Versions of a foot and footwear disinfection device of a removable and adjustable nature are planned, so that it can be easily accommodated inside a shoe (figure 13).
- the device will have at least one source of radiation and / or ozone generator (1h) (figure 12), the material of the device will preferably be made of a luminoconductive plastic material and therefore permeable to said source of light radiation contributing to a homogeneous diffusion of the radiation of ultraviolet and / or ozone generating light to the interior surface of the footwear.
- SUBSTITUTE SHEET (RULE 26) It can be made for each shoe size or be adjustable by a conventional procedure, such as sliding an element (11) into another (12) by a prismatic pair to adapt the length of the device within a range or range of shoe sizes.
- the foot and footwear disinfection device described in this preferred embodiment consists of at least one source of ultraviolet and / or ozone generating light (1e) that radiates through a network of fibers of a luminoconductive nature (2c) ( Figure 6) , integrated in a conventional removable template (7) (figure 7), the template constitution material being preferably permeable to said radiation in order to obtain a homogeneity in the diffusion of the radiation source.
- the activation of the present device may be carried out by means of a switch or a timed control device for conventional use, the device being provided with its relevant switching and conventional power supply (3).
- Said disinfection device for feet and footwear may be integrated into the footwear at the time of manufacture, or be removable and placed afterwards (figure 7).
- Figure 1 Shows the disinfection device for feet and footwear, where (1a) represents the source of ultraviolet light and / or ozone generator integrated in the footwear itself and (3) its power supply.
