図1に示すように、本発明の第1実施形態に係る通気部材1Aは、筐体6の開口61が設けられた部分に装着されるものであり、通気膜2と、通気膜2を支持する支持体3と、支持体3と筐体6とに挟まれるシール部材4と、通気膜2を支持体3と反対側から覆うカバー体5とを備えている。通気膜2は、気体の透過を許容しつつ、筐体6内に水滴や塵埃などの異物が侵入することを阻止する機能を有する。通気膜2の気体透過作用により、筐体6内の圧力は外部の圧力に等しく保たれる。なお、本実施形態では、説明の便宜のために、支持体3と筐体6とがシール部材4を挟み込む方向のうち支持体3側(図1の上側)を上方、筐体6側(図1の下側)を下方という。
次に、図5を参照して、本発明の第2実施形態に係る通気部材1Bを説明する。なお、第2実施形態ならびに後述する第3実施形態および第4実施形態では、第1実施形態と同一構成部分には同一符号を付し、特に異なる部分以外の説明は省略する。
図6および図7に示すように、第3実施形態の通気部材1Cでは、カバー体3の突出部53の突出高さが小さく抑えられていて、側壁部52と支持体3との重なり代が大きく確保されている。また、天井部51の下面には、当該下面の中心から側壁部52まで延びる複数の溝51aが放射状に設けられている。なお、第3実施形態のその他の構成は、第1実施形態の構成と同じである。
図8に示すように、第4実施形態では、筐体6の開口61が2箇所に設けられている。各開口61は、筐体6を上下方向に貫通する、紙面と直交する方向に延びる長方形状の貫通孔によって構成されている。
Claims (11)
- 筐体に装着される通気部材であって、
通気膜と、前記通気膜を支持し、前記筐体に固定されることにより前記筐体の開口から前記通気膜に至る通気路を形成する支持体と、前記開口を取り囲む位置で前記筐体と前記支持体との間のシールを行うシール部材とを備え、
前記支持体は、表面に前記通気膜が貼着され、裏面で前記シール部材を前記筐体に押し付ける主部と、前記主部の裏面から延びて前記開口に差し込まれる複数の脚部であって先端に前記筐体に係止される爪部が形成された脚部と、を含み、
前記主部には、前記脚部の差し込み方向における前記爪部と対応する位置に、前記爪部を前記主部の表面側に露出させる貫通孔が設けられており、この貫通孔および前記脚部同士の間に形成される隙間によって前記通気路が構成される、通気部材。 - 前記脚部は、前記主部から遠ざかるにつれて外側に広がるように斜めに延びていて、前記爪部は、前記脚部における前記主部の裏面側を向く外側面に形成されており、
前記貫通孔は、前記脚部の前記外側面をも前記主部の表面側に露出させるものである、請求項1に記載の通気部材。 - 前記主部の表面には、前記通気膜を取り囲む位置に、前記通気膜から遠ざかるにつれて前記裏面側に後退する後退部が形成されている、請求項1に記載の通気部材。
- 前記支持体は、前記シール部材を外側から囲う周壁部をさらに含む、請求項1に記載の通気部材。
- 前記支持体は、前記周壁部および前記主部と共に、前記シール部材を収容する収容溝を形成する第2の周壁部をさらに含む、請求項4に記載の通気部材。
- 前記主部の表面には、前記通気膜との間に空間を形成する凹部が設けられており、この凹部の底面に前記貫通孔の全てが開口している、請求項1に記載の通気部材。
- 前記通気膜を前記支持体と反対側から覆うカバー体をさらに備え、
前記カバー体は、前記通気膜に対向する天井部と、この天井部の周縁部から前記支持体側に延びる側壁部と、この側壁部から前記支持体側に突出する複数の突出部とを有しており、
前記突出部が前記支持体に固定されていて、前記側壁部と前記支持体との間に、前記通気膜が面する前記カバー体内の空間と外部とを連通する隙間が形成されている、請求項1に記載の通気部材。 - 前記側壁部は、前記通気膜よりも前記支持体側に延びている、請求項7に記載の通気部材。
- 前記側壁部の内周面における前記支持体側の端部には、傾斜面が形成されている、請求項7に記載の通気部材。
- 前記通気膜は、樹脂多孔質膜を含むものである、請求項1に記載の通気部材。
- 前記樹脂多孔質膜は、撥液処理が施されたものである、請求項10に記載の通気部材。
