Abstract

본 발명은 외부 잡광 및/또는 난반사 등에 의한 잡광이 광 센서로 유입되는 것을 방지하여 정밀도가 향상되고 하우징을 이루는 커버의 구조가 개선된 광 포인팅장치 및 이를 갖는 휴대 전자기기를 개시한다. 본 발명에 따른 광 포인팅장치는: 적외선을 출사하는 적외선원(IR source); 상기 적외선원에서 출사된 적외선이 피사체에 도달하도록 상기 적외선을 투과시키는 커버 플레이트 및 상기 커버 플레이트와 결합되어 상기 커버 플레이트를 지지하는 커버 프레임(cover frame)을 갖는 커버; 상기 커버의 내측에 제공되며, 상기 커버 플레이트 외부의 상기 피사체에서 반사된 적외선이 입사되는 광학유닛(optical unit); 그리고 상기 광학유닛을 투과한 적외선을 감지하는 광 센서를 포함한다. 그리고 상기 커버 플레이트는, 상기 커버 프레임에 고정되는 베이스(base)와, 상기 베이스의 일측에 제공되는 박막의 적외선 밴드 패스 필터층(IR band-pass filter layer)을 포함한다.
