Abstract

Die Erfindung betrifft ein Verfahren zur in vitro Erfassung und/oder Unterscheidung und/oder Verlaufsbeobachtung von pathophysiologischen Zuständen (z.B. SIRS oder SEPSIS) mittels Probennukleinsäuren, Bestimmung von Genaktivitäten mittels einer Mehrzahl von Polynukleotiden, Bestimmung von Genaktivitäten wenigstens eines internen Referenzgens sowie Bilden eines Index-Wertes aus den einzelnen bestimmten normalisierten Genaktivitäten eines Multigenbiomarkers, der den pathophysiologischen Zustand anzeigt, umfasst.
