Abstract

본 발명은 탄약에 관한 것으로서, 탄환의 운동속도와 사거리를 증가시키고, 탄환의 명중률을 높이는 것을 목적으로 한다. 이러한 목적을 달성하기 위하여 본 발명은, 개방부를 갖는 장약실이 구비된 탄피와; 탄피의 장약실에 장입되는 장약과; 물리적 또는 전기적인 충격이 가해짐에 따라 장약을 폭발시킬 수 있도록 탄피에 설치되는 뇌관과; 탄피의 개방부에 발사가능하게 설치되며, 발사시 공기저항을 최소화시킬 수 있도록 유선형 꼬리부를 갖는 탄환과; 탄환을 분리가능하게 지지한 상태에서 장약실의 개방부를 밀폐하며, 장약의 폭발시에 탄환을 발사시키면서 분리되는 웨드(Wad)를 구비한다.
