Abstract

La présente invention concerne un procédé de détermination d’une ou de plusieurs caractéristiques d’un flux de contenu (16) comportant une séquence (18) de trames (20), le procédé comprenant les étapes suivantes: la réception de la séquence de trames, pour chacune d’une pluralité de trames dans la séquence de trames; la mesure d’un attribut d’une ou de plusieurs parties (34) de la trame; le calcul d’une empreinte digitale (28) à partir de l’attribut/des attributs mesuré(s), l’accès à un indicateur (30) d’empreintes digitales prédéterminées (28) pour le flux de contenu, et l’identification de l’empreinte digitale calculée dans l’indicateur (30). Enfin, le procédé détermine la (ou chaque) caractéristique du flux de contenu (16) (telle que la vitesse et/ou la direction du flux de contenu) à partir d’au moins deux des empreintes digitales calculées et identifiées.
