Abstract

The invention relates to an electronic device (4), especially for a motor vehicle, comprising: at least one electronic component (12) connected to a power supply network (9), this component being in particular permanently polarized by an energy storage device such as a battery or a set of super-capacitors of the power supply network; at least one thermal fuse (15) placed in such a way as to be sensitive to the heat liberated by the electronic component, and in such a way as to cut off the electrical power supply to the electronic component through the power supply network when the electronic component is subjected to overheating, especially following a failure of this electronic component.
