Abstract
The invention relates to a stationary power supply unit, comprising a charging device having a housing for electrically charging at least one electrical energy store of a vehicle comprising an electric drive which is supplied by the energy store, wherein the power supply unit has at least one linking means for electrically linking the charging device to an electrical interconnected network transfer point and connecting means for electrically connecting the charging device to the energy store present on the vehicle. According to the invention, the charging device has at least one charging energy store for the intermediate storage of electrical power, such that the amount of power available for charging an energy store is increased relative to the maximum amount of power that can be withdrawn from the interconnected network transfer point. The invention also relates to the use of a used vehicle energy store as a charging energy store in a stationary power supply unit according to the invention.
