Abstract

La présente invention concerne un système de forage sous-marin comprenant un module de forage ayant un carrousel d'outil qui peut être retiré et replacé dans ou hors de l'eau, un module de patin et un ROV à raccorder au module de patin et à débrancher de celui-ci dans ou hors de l'eau, pour utiliser le système de forage sous-marin avec le ROV. Un procédé d'utilisation d'un système de forage sous-marin comprend le retrait d'un carrousel d'outil d'un module de forage et le remplacement du carrousel d'outil par un autre carrousel d'outil, dans ou hors de l'eau. Un ROV est raccordé à un module de patin et débranché du module de patin dans ou hors de l'eau. Le système de forage sous-marin est utilisé avec le ROV.
