実施の形態1.
図1は、この発明の実施の形態1に係るデジタル放送システムの構成を示す図である。
デジタル放送システムは、BS/CSデジタル放送局1、BS/CSデジタル放送アンテナ2、BS/CSデジタル放送アンテナ2からの電波を中継する衛星3、地上デジタル放送局4、地上デジタル送信アンテナ5、IP放送局群6、IPネットワーク7、ユーザ宅に設置されるBS/CSデジタル受信アンテナ8、ユーザ宅に設置される地上デジタル受信アンテナ9及びデジタル放送受信機(放送受信機)10で構成されている。
BS/CSデジタル放送局1においてMPEG-2 SYSTEMSに準拠した放送データを編成し、BS/CSデジタル送信アンテナ2から衛星3を経由して、各家庭に対して放送波を発信する。地上デジタル放送局4も同様にMPEG-2 SYSTEMSに準拠した放送データを編成し、地上デジタル送信アンテナ5から各家庭に対して放送波を発信する。
デジタル放送受信機10は、視聴者がチャネル変更操作などを行うリモコン11、リモコン11から送出される赤外線を受ける赤外線IF(インタフェース)101、入力される映像・音声符号化データをデコードして、映像フレーム及び音声フレームを生成する映像・音声再生部102、入力される複数の映像フレーム、画像フレーム、及び音声フレームデータを合成するフレーム合成処理部103、入力される映像及び音声を出力するモニタ及びスピーカ104、入力分岐テーブルを設定すると共に、サービスの選局指示を行う装置管理部105、受信した放送波の伝送路符号化の復号と、TSを分離して本放送用の映像・音声符号化データと、データ放送コンテンツなどとに抜き出すIPネットワークIF/TS分離部106、IP放送ネットワーク選局管理データを展開するIP放送ネットワーク構成管理部107、データ放送コンテンツを再生するデータ放送ブラウザ(ブラウザ)108、データ放送ブラウザ108に内蔵され、データ放送コンテンツに含まれる手続き記述を実行する手続き記述処理部109、手続き記述処理部109に内蔵され、放送網識別子、放送設備識別子、サービス提供手段識別子、サービス識別子によって特定される放送サービスへの選局を指示するIP放送ネットワーク遷移指示IF処理部(IP放送ネットワーク選局IF処理部)110、放送網識別子、放送設備識別子、サービス提供手段識別子、サービス識別子の指定により、所望の放送サービスの選局を行うIP放送ネットワーク選局管理部111で構成されている。
図6はこの発明の実施の形態1に係る手続き記述の一例を示す図であり異IPテレビ放送サービス選局要求手続き記述(以下、手続き記述Aと称する)の記述内容を示している。図7は図6の手続き記述を含むBML文書の一例を示す図である。
上述した実施の形態1では、IPネットワーク内の他のIP放送サービスを選局する構成を示したが、この実施の形態2では、オリジナル放送サービスから再配信先の同一サービスを検索して選局する構成を示す。
図8はこの発明の実施の形態2に係るデジタル放送受信機の構成を示すブロック図である。以下では、実施の形態1に係るデジタル放送システムの構成要素と同一の部分には実施の形態1で使用した符号と同一の符号を付して説明を省略または簡略化する。
上述した実施の形態2では、オリジナル放送サービスのデータ放送コンテンツからIP放送サービスを選局する構成を示したが、この実施の形態3ではIP放送サービスのデータ放送コンテンツからオリジナル放送サービスを選局する構成を示す。図12は、この発明の実施の形態3に係る発明のデジタル放送受信機の構成を示すブロック図である。以下では、実施の形態1及び2に係るデジタル放送システムの構成要素と同一の部分には、実施の形態1及び2で使用した符号と同一の符号を付して説明を省略または簡略化する。
上述した実施の形態1-3では、放送サービスのデータ放送コンテンツの指示により放送網種別を超えて、異なる放送サービスを選局する構成を示したが、この実施の形態4では視聴中のデータ放送コンテンツから放送網種別を超えて、異なる放送サービスの放送データ中のモノメディアを参照する構成を示す。
図16は、この発明の実施の形態4に係る発明のデジタル放送受信機の構成を示すブロック図である。以下では、実施の形態1及び2に係るデジタル放送システムの構成要素と同一の部分には、実施の形態1及び2で使用した符号と同一の符号を付して説明を省略または簡略化する。
上述した実施の形態4では、視聴中のオリジナル放送サービスのデータ放送コンテンツからIP放送サービスの放送データ中のモノメディアを参照する構成について示したが、この実施の形態5では視聴中のIP放送サービスのデータ放送コンテンツからオリジナル放送サービスの放送データ中のモノメディアを参照する構成を示す。図18は、この発明の実施の形態5に係る発明のデジタル放送受信機の構成を示すブロック図である。以下では、実施の形態1-4に係るデジタル放送システムの構成要素と同一の部分には、実施の形態1-4で使用した符号と同一の符号を付して説明を省略または簡略化する。
上述した実施の形態4では、デジタル放送受信機が1つのIP放送網に接続される場合について示したが、この実施の形態6では複数のIP放送網であるCDN(Contents Delivery Network)に接続される場合について示す。
IP放送網では、VOD(Video On Demand)機能という、視聴者から選択された映像及び音声TTS(Timestamped TS)リソースをユニキャストするサービス形態がある。このVOD機能の実現のために、映像及び音声TTSリソースファイルやライセンス関連情報記述ファイルなどのリソースファイルを設け、当該リソースファイルへのURIをまとめて記述するVOD再生制御ファイルを用いてVOD機能を実現する。object要素のdata属性が1つのIP放送網内では、VOD再生制御ファイルへのURIを指定することにより、VODの再生を実行可能であり、そのURIは「http://」または「https://」と、これらに引き続くドメイン名から始まるファイルパスにより記述される。このVOD再生制御ファイルであることを示すために、object要素のtype属性として例えば「application/X-arib-contentPlayControl」を指定する。
上述した実施の形態6では、デジタル放送受信機が複数のCDNに対し、順にDNSプロトコルを用いてドメインを探し、CDNを特定するものを示したが、この実施の形態7では構成管理情報から合致するドメインを見つけて、CDNを特定するものを示す。
上述した実施の形態4では、視聴中のオリジナル放送サービスのデータ放送コンテンツからIP放送サービスの放送データ中のモノメディアを参照するために従来のスキーマを用いてIP放送サービスであることを明示する場合について示したが、この実施の形態8ではIP放送網で提供される一般的なモノメディアリソースを、視聴中のオリジナル放送サービスのデータ放送コンテンツから参照するために、新たなスキーマを導入するものを示す。
Claims (12)
- 放送網から発信される複数の放送サービスを提供するサービス提供手段と、前記サービス提供手段に提供される放送設備と、前記放送設備が1つのIPネットワークを経由して提供する放送サービスを受信する放送受信機とを有するデジタル放送システムにおいて、
前記放送設備は、前記放送網の種別を識別する放送網識別子と、前記放送設備を識別する放送設備識別子と、前記サービス提供手段を識別するサービス提供手段識別子と、前記放送サービスを識別するサービス識別子とを提供し、
前記放送受信機は、前記放送網識別子、前記放送設備識別子、前記サービス提供手段識別子及び前記サービス識別子を指定し、放送サービスを特定することを特徴とするデジタル放送システム。 - 放送網から発信される複数の放送サービスを提供するサービス提供手段と、前記サービス提供手段に提供される放送設備を有するデジタル放送システムの放送受信機において、
前記放送設備が1つのIPネットワークを経由して提供する放送サービスを受信し、受信した前記放送サービスの放送コンテンツに多重されているデータ放送コンテンツに含まれる手続き記述を実行する手続き記述処理部と、前記データ放送コンテンツに付与されている、前記放送網の種別を識別する放送網識別子、前記放送設備を識別する放送設備識別子、前記サービス提供手段を識別するサービス提供手段識別子、及び前記放送サービスを識別するサービス識別子により特定される放送サービスの選局を指示するIP放送ネットワーク選局IF処理部とを備え、前記データ放送コンテンツを再生するブラウザと、
前記IP放送ネットワーク選局IF処理部の放送サービス選局指示に基づき放送サービスの選局を行うIP放送ネットワーク選局管理部とを備えたことを特徴とする放送受信機。 - ブラウザは、放送網識別子、放送設備識別子、サービス提供手段識別子及びサービス識別子で構成されるIP放送サービスリストを要求するIP放送ネットワーク放送サービスリスト要求IF処理部を備え、
前記IP放送ネットワーク放送サービスリスト要求IF処理部の要求に基づき、放送中の全ての放送サービスに関するIP放送サービスリストを出力するIP放送ネットワーク選局情報出力部を備えたことを特徴とする請求項2記載の放送受信機。 - IP放送ネットワーク放送サービスリスト要求IF処理部は、放送網識別子、放送設備識別子、サービス提供手段識別子、サービス識別子の一つあるいは複数を指定する絞り込み条件を出力し、
IP放送ネットワーク選局情報出力部から出力されたIP放送サービスリストから上記絞り込み条件に合致する放送サービスを検索し、前記合致する放送サービスのIP放送サービスリストを出力するサービス検索処理部を備えたことを特徴とする請求項3記載の放送受信機。 - 放送網から発信される複数の放送サービスを提供するサービス提供手段と、前記サービス提供手段に提供される放送設備を有するデジタル放送システムの放送受信機において、
前記放送設備が1つのIPネットワークを経由して提供する放送サービスを受信し、受信した前記放送サービスの放送コンテンツに多重されているデータ放送コンテンツに含まれる手続き記述を実行する手続き記述処理部と、前記データ放送コンテンツに付与されている、前記放送網の種別を識別する放送網識別子、トランスポートストリームを識別するトランスポートストリーム識別子、前記トランスポートストリームが伝送されるネットワークを示すオリジナルネットワーク識別子及び前記放送サービスを識別するサービス識別子により特定される放送サービスの選局を指示する放送波ネットワーク放送選局IF処理部とを備え、前記データ放送コンテンツを再生するブラウザと、
前記放送波ネットワーク放送選局IF処理部の放送サービス選局指示に基づき放送サービスの選局を行う放送波ネットワーク選局管理部とを備えたことを特徴とする放送受信機。 - ブラウザは、放送網識別子、オリジナルネットワーク識別子、トランスポートストリーム識別子及びサービス識別子で構成される放送波サービスリストを要求する放送波ネットワーク放送サービスリスト要求IF処理部を備え、
前記放送波ネットワーク放送サービスリスト要求IF処理部の要求に基づき、放送中の全ての放送サービスに関する放送波サービスリストを出力する放送波ネットワーク選局情報出力部を備えたことを特徴とする請求項5記載の放送受信機。 - 放送網から発信される複数の放送サービスを提供するサービス提供手段と、前記サービス提供手段に提供される放送設備を有するデジタル放送システムの放送受信機において、
前記放送設備が1つのIPネットワークを経由して提供する放送サービスを受信し、受信した前記放送サービスの放送コンテンツに多重されているデータ放送コンテンツに含まれる要素及び属性記述を実行する要素属性記述処理部と、前記データ放送コンテンツに付与されている、前記放送網の種別を識別する放送網識別子、前記放送設備を識別する放送設備識別子、前記サービス提供手段を識別するサービス提供手段識別子、及び前記放送サービスを識別するサービス識別子により特定される放送サービスの参照を指示するIP放送ネットワーク参照IF処理部とを備え、前記データ放送コンテンツを再生するブラウザと、
前記IP放送ネットワーク参照IF処理部の放送サービス参照指示に基づき放送サービスに含まれる放送データの一部を参照するIP放送ネットワーク参照管理部と、
前記放送網識別子、前記放送設備識別子、前記サービス提供手段識別子及び前記サービス識別子に基づき放送サービスの選局を行うIP放送ネットワーク選局管理部とを備えたことを特徴とする放送受信機。 - 放送網から発信される複数の放送サービスを提供するサービス提供手段と、前記サービス提供手段に提供される放送設備を有するデジタル放送システムの放送受信機において、
前記放送設備が1つのIPネットワークを経由して提供する放送サービスを受信し、受信した前記放送サービスの放送コンテンツに多重されているデータ放送コンテンツに含まれる要素及び属性記述を実行する要素属性記述処理部と、前記データ放送コンテンツに付与されている、前記放送網の種別を識別する放送網識別子、トランスポートストリームを識別するトランスポートストリーム識別子、前記トランスポートストリームが伝送されるネットワークを示すオリジナルネットワーク識別子及び前記放送サービスを識別するサービス識別子により特定される放送サービスの参照を指示する放送波ネットワーク参照IF処理部とを備え、前記データ放送コンテンツを再生するブラウザと、
前記放送波ネットワーク参照IF処理部の放送サービス参照指示に基づき放送サービスに含まれる放送データの一部を参照する放送波ネットワーク参照管理部と、
前記放送網識別子、前記放送設備識別子、前記サービス提供手段識別子及び前記サービス識別子に基づき放送サービスの選局を行うIP放送ネットワーク選局管理部とを備えたことを特徴とする放送受信機。 - 放送網から発信される複数の放送サービスおよびデータ放送コンテンツを提供するサービス提供手段と、前記サービス提供手段に提供される放送設備を有するデジタル放送システムの放送受信機において、
前記放送設備が複数のIPネットワークを経由して提供される放送サービスおよびデータ放送コンテンツを受信し、受信したデータ放送コンテンツに含まれる要素記述の解析、及び属性記述の解析指示を出力する要素属性記述処理部と、前記属性記述の解析指示に基づき前記属性記述からドメイン名を取得するドメイン名取得部とを備え、前記データ放送コンテンツを再生するブラウザと、
前記複数のIPネットワークに対して問い合わせを行い、前記ドメイン名を解決可能なIPネットワークを特定するドメイン名解決処理部とを備えたことを特徴とする放送受信機。 - 放送網から発信される複数の放送サービスおよびデータ放送コンテンツを提供するサービス提供手段と、前記サービス提供手段に提供される放送設備を有するデジタル放送システムの放送受信機において、
前記放送設備が複数のIPネットワークを経由して提供される放送サービスおよびデータ放送コンテンツを受信し、受信したデータ放送コンテンツに含まれる要素記述の解析、及び属性記述の解析指示を出力する要素属性記述処理部と、前記属性記述の解析指示に基づき前記属性記述からドメイン名を取得するドメイン名取得部とを備え、前記データ放送コンテンツを再生するブラウザと、
前記複数のIPネットワークがそれぞれ提供する構成管理情報を取得し、前記構成管理情報を参照して前記ドメイン名を解決可能なIPネットワークを特定するIP放送ネットワーク構成管理部とを備えたことを特徴とする放送受信機。 - 放送網から発信される複数の放送サービスおよびデータ放送コンテンツを提供するサービス提供手段と、前記サービス提供手段に提供される放送設備と、前記放送設備が複数のIPネットワークを経由して提供される放送サービスおよびデータ放送コンテンツを受信する放送受信機とを有するデジタル放送システムにおいて、
前記データ放送コンテンツは、当該コンテンツが存在するIPネットワークを示すIPネットワーク識別、及び前記識別されたIPネットワーク内における配置位置を示す名前空間が記述されたスキーマを有することを特徴とするデジタル放送システム。 - 放送網から発信される複数の放送サービスおよびデータ放送コンテンツを提供するサービス提供手段と、前記サービス提供手段に提供される放送設備を有するデジタル放送システムの放送受信機において、
前記放送設備が複数のIPネットワークを経由して提供される放送サービスおよびデータ放送コンテンツを受信し、受信したデータ放送コンテンツにIPネットワークを識別するIPネットワーク識別、及び前記識別されたIPネットワーク内における配置位置を示す名前空間で構成されたスキーマが記述されている場合に、前記放送サービスの放送コンテンツに多重されているデータ放送コンテンツに含まれる要素記述の解析、及び属性記述の解析指示を出力する要素属性記述処理部と、前記属性記述の解決指示に基づき前記スキーマを解析し、ネットワーク識別及び名前空間を取得してIPネットワークを特定するスキーマ解析部とを備え、前記データ放送コンテンツを再生するブラウザとを備えたことを特徴とする放送受信機。
