Abstract
有機ELパッシブマトリックス素子の点灯させない区間をハイインピーダンスにする駆動方法において、輝度低下及び輝度ムラを低減した有機ELパッシブマトリックス素子の駆動装置及びその方法を提供する。カラムドライバ(21)の各駆動部は、各プッシュプル出力に遅延回路(22-1~22-3)、差動回路(23-1~23-3)及び電流注入回路(24-1~24-3)を加えたものからなる。遅延回路(22-1~22-3)は、積分回路で代表されるもので、陽極の電圧を所定時間遅らせて平均化する。差動回路(23-1~23-3)は、遅延回路(22-1~22-3)の出力と元の陽極の電圧との差分を出力する。電流注入回路(24-1~24-3)は、この差分の量に応じた量の補充電流Icを主電流Iに加えて陽極に注入する。
