Abstract

　進行波により駆動されるロータを有する振動アクチュエータ。 　回転軸の周りに形成された円筒状の被駆動面を有するロータと、回転軸と同軸に形成されて被駆動面接する駆動面を有するステータと、駆動面を周方向に分割した複数の領域を互いに異なる位相で径方向に変位させて、周方向に進行する進行波を駆動面に発生させる駆動部とを備え、駆動部によりステータに生じた進行波がロータを回転軸の周りに回転させる。上記振動アクチュエータにおいて、駆動面は、回転軸に対して対称な複数の箇所で被駆動面に接して駆動力を伝えてもよい。
