Definitions

  • the present invention relates to labels used for the identification of consumer products, and in particular to identify beers packaged in glass containers.
  • the labels used for the identification of consumer products, in particular beer packaged in glass containers are well known in the art. These usually consist of a small square sheet of printed paper with the product, brand and manufacturer data, which is glued by means of an adhesive to the cylindrical body of the bottle in which the beer is packaged.
  • This label only has the function of identifying the product on the sales sites. Subsequently, it no longer has any function. In some parts of the land where beer consumption is common, people who gather to drink it, demand it cold. Therefore, these products are usually kept in a refrigerator to have them ready for consumption. When serving, the bottle is wet on the outside, which softens the adhesive that holds the label. People who are enjoying the liquid content have a tendency to try to remove the label from the package. This seems to cause some pleasure to those who drink beer. Sometimes the label is removed from the bottle in a complete state, while at other times the label is broken. Either way the idea is that while drinking the liquid, the labels that have already fulfilled their main function must be completely removed from the bottle in accordance with the practice established by many of the consumers.
  • the present invention provides a double label, comprising a base substrate and a cover, which can fulfill the main function of identifying the manufacturer of the product, the product itself and containing all other data and information required for the marketing of the product, and additionally provide a game of distraction to customers consumers of the product.
  • Said game also has the advantage of contributing to the advertising of the product and to a greater sale, as will be seen from the detailed description of the present invention.

  • Said cover 3 has a generally square or rectangular shape and preferably has the same surface dimension as that of the substrate 2, and may be of a smaller surface dimension.
  • shape of said cover may be different from square or rectangular. For example it could be oval, circular, trapezoidal or any other regular or irregular polygonal shape.

  • the cover 3 ' is placed centered on the substrate 2'.
  • the cover 3 ' shown by one of its vertices is shown.
  • These adhesion points 10 consist of a "hot melt” type adhesive. This adhesive is distributed bordering the periphery of the cover 3 'on the substrate 2' in a pattern of dots or stripes short, although it can also be achieved with a continuous line of adhesive.
  • the present invention has been described in relation to a preferred embodiment related to the beer product. But it is evident to those skilled in the art that the present invention can be used and applied and adapted for other types of products. Similarly, the game described is just an example that should not be taken in any way as limiting the invention, since other games can be designed by those versed in the subject without altering the spirit and scope of the invention. As a non-limiting example, instead of the game described, when scraping a portion designed for it, a promotional prize that encourages the purchase of the product could come out.
