Definitions

  • the present invention relates to a dual sealing structure for a container. More particularly, the present invention relates to a dual sealing structure for a container, which can facilitate opening and closing thereof and improving the sealing performance by modifying a neck, through which contents are received, and the structure of a cap coupled with the neck in the container for closely storing the contents, such as a bottle, a bottle can, and vessels used in the kitchen for living.
  • a cap for sealing an opening is coupled with a container such as a glass bottle, a steel bottle, a plastic bottle and a side dish case.
  • a coupling member is formed at the opening of the container and the cap to firmly couple the cap with the opening.
  • the coupling structure between the container and the cap may be classified into a lug-bead type, a PT bead type, a screw-coupling type (PP type), a press-fit type, and a crown-type according to the shape of the coupling structure.
  • FIG. 1 is a view showing a conventional lug-bead type sealing structure for a container and FIG. 2 is a perspective view showing the cap in FIG. 1.
  • FIG. 1 is a view showing a conventional lug-bead type sealing structure for a container
  • FIG. 2 is a perspective view showing the cap in FIG. 1.
  • FIGS. 1 and 2 a plurality of lug beads 100 are inclined and partially formed on the outer peripheral surface of the neck 20 of a container 2, and a plurality of lugs 470 are formed at the lower portion of a sidewall of a cap 4 such that the lugs 470 are coupled with the lug beads 100.
  • FIG. 3 is a view showing a conventional PT bead type sealing structure for a container.
  • the conventional PT bead type sealing structure A'-2 comprises a container 2, which includes a neck 20 and a plurality of neck beads 100' inclined and partially formed on the outer peripheral surface of the neck 20, and a cap 4 provided at an the inner peripheral surface thereof with a PT layer 490 closely making contact with the neck beads 100'.
  • FIG. 4 is a view showing a conventional screw-coupling type sealing structure for a container.
  • spiral protrusions 22 are formed on the outer peripheral surface of the neck 20 of a container 2, and a screw section 410 is formed at the inner surface of a sidewall of a cap 4, so that the cap 4 is screw-coupled with the neck 20.
  • FIG. 5 is a view showing a conventional press-fit type sealing structure for a container.
  • annular groove 230 is formed in the outer peripheral surface of a container neck 20, and an annular protrusion 450 is formed at the inner surface of a sidewall of a cap 4, so that the cap 4 is press-fitted around the container neck 20.
  • the present invention has been made to solve the above problems occurring in the prior art, and an object of the present invention is to provide a dual sealing structure for a container, which can improve sealing performance with stronger sealing force by forming a close contact section, which closely makes contact with the inner peripheral surface of a container neck, at an inner side of a cap comprising glass, metal or plastic, and allowing the sidewall and close contact section of the cap to closely make contact with the outer and inner peripheral surfaces of the container neck in various coupling structures between the container neck and the cap, such as a lug-bead type, a PT bead type, a screw-coupling type and a press-fit type.
  • a dual sealing structure for a container comprising: a first coupling section formed on an outer peripheral surface of a neck of the container, through which contents are received; and a cap provided at an inner peripheral surface thereof with a second coupling section coupled with the first coupling section, wherein a close contact section is formed at an inner portion of the cap and protrudes downward to closely make contact with an inner peripheral surface of the neck, and a groove is formed at an inner side of the close contact section.
  • a close contact section which closely makes contact with the inner peripheral surface of a container neck, is formed at an inner side of a cap, and the sidewall and close contact section of the cap closely make contact with the outer and inner peripheral surfaces of the container neck, so that sealing performance can be significantly improved with stronger sealing force.
