Abstract

【課題】製作が容易で、ノイズエコーの発生を抑えることができる超音波計測導波棒を提供する。 【解決手段】軸方向の一端部に探触子が配置され、軸方向の他端部には、試験体に接触する接触面が形成されている超音波探傷導波棒2において、軸方向と直交する断面形状は、該断面形状のいずれか一辺41Aと他の全ての辺41B,41C,41Dとが平行でない多角形である。少なくとも対向する一組の辺41A,41Cが平行でないため、これら平行でない辺41A,41Cを構成する外面に超音波Pが反射し、ノイズエコーとして探触子3に戻ることを抑制できる。例えば、一方の外面に直交して反射した超音波成分は、他方の外面に反射し、他の辺の外面41Dに向うから、ノイズとなるエコーが探触子に戻り難くなる。
