Abstract

 本発明の課題は、磁気特性の低下を防止しつつ、効率よく渦電流を抑制することができるモータ用永久磁石を提供することにある。本発明のモータ用永久磁石(1)は、渦電流が大きく流れようとする表面の近くに被膜(12)を備えており、この渦電流は、磁性相(14)間に介在する非導電性のマトリックス(13)によって遮断されるとともに、各磁性相(14)に小さく分散されて流れることとなる。このモータ用永久磁石(1)では、表面近くで大きくなるはずの渦電流を小さくなるように被膜(12)が抑制する。
