Abstract
本発明の超音波診断装置は、被検体との間で超音波を送受信する超音波プローブと、この超音波プローブにより計測された反射エコー信号に基づく超音波信号の関心領域における複数計測点の振幅値の確率分布から、被検体の生体組織の均質性に係る確率密度関数のパラメータを算出する均質性演算部と、算出されたパラメータに基づいて階調化された組織均質性画像を生成する画像生成部と、生成された組織均質性画像を表示する表示部とを備える。
