Abstract

【課題】長期間にわたって高い収率、有効選択率を維持できるメタクロレイン及び／またはメタクリル酸の製造方法を提供すること。 【解決手段】ターシャリーブタノール及び／またはイソブチレンを原料とし、これを反応管ガス流れ方向に二つの発熱ピークを有するように酸化触媒を充填した反応管に供給し、分子状酸素の存在下で原料を部分酸化しメタクロレイン及び／またはメタクリル酸を製造する方法において、二つの酸化触媒層の発熱ピークの間の温度の極小値をＴｍ、反応浴温度をＴｂとしたとき、Ｔｍ－Ｔｂ≧１５°Cとすることを特徴とするメタクロレイン及び／またはメタクリル酸の製造方法。
