Abstract

　装置の複雑化と高価格化を招くことなく、優れた駆動性能を維持しつつ高い耐久性能を得ることが可能な超音波アクチュエータ、及び磁気記録装置を提供する。かかる超音波アクチュエータは、所定の振動を行う当接部を有する振動体と、当接部に加圧接触される被当接部を有して当接部の振動により、振動体に対して相対移動を生じる移動体と、を備えた超音波アクチュエータにおいて、振動体の当接部と移動体の被当接部との間には、ゲル化剤を配合した潤滑剤が介在されている。
