Abstract

This invention provides a base material sheet which, when used in a process strippable sheet, can improve the strippability of a synthetic leather from the process strippable sheet. There is also provided a process strippable sheet which can improve the strippability of a synthetic leather. The base material sheet for a process strippable sheet comprises a cast coated paper comprising a support and a cast coating layer containing a binder and a pigment for a coating layer. The binder contains a styrene-butadiene copolymer comprising more than 40% by mass of butadiene units. The process strippable sheet comprises the base material sheet for a process strippable sheet and a strippable layer provided on the cast coating layer on its side remote from the support in the base material sheet. The strippable layer contains a stripping agent component and a silica-containing pigment for a strippable layer.
