Abstract

　光ヘッド装置２００は、第１の光ビームの第１の発光点２０１ａと、第２の光ビームの第２の発光点２０１ｂとを有する半導体レーザ２０１から選択的に出射され光ディスク１０７または２３１に向かう光ビームの一部を回折する回折格子２１０を備え、回折格子２１０は光ディスクのトラックの接線方向に沿った分割線で分割され、領域４０３と４０４の配置の関係は、回折格子２１０における第１の光ビームと第２の光ビームとの配置の関係に対応し、領域４０３は、前記第１の光ビームの光軸と交差する位置に配置され、領域４０２の位相と領域４０４の位相との位相差が１８０度、領域４０４の位相と領域４０５の位相との位相差が１８０度であり、領域４０４の幅は、第２の光ビームの光ディスクによる±１次回折光の、０次回折光からの位置ずれの量以下である。 　それにより、２つの光源を使用してインライン差動プッシュプル法を行う時にトラッキング制御を安定に行える。
