Abstract

 本発明は、段階的リフレッシュ方式を用いて初期遅延時間を短くしつつ、復号化される動画像の画質を劣化させないように動画像をH.264符号化方式によって符号化することができる符号化装置、符号化方法、符号化プログラムおよび符号化回路を提供することを目的とする。この目的を達成するため、符号化装置は、段階的リフレッシュ方式におけるリフレッシュ領域に加えて、次に処理するフレームでリフレッシュ領域になるマクロブロックラインに対応する現フレームのマクロブロックラインをリフレッシュ領域にする。
