Abstract

 記録すべき情報に応じて変調された記録光(P)を記録媒体(B)において複数の照射スポット(T)をなすように照射するとともに、照射スポット(T)ごとに記録光(P)と干渉するように参照光(Sa)を照射する光学的記録手段と、照射スポット(T)ごとに参照光(Sa)の入射角を制御する参照光入射角制御手段(9)と、を備えたホログラム記録装置(A)であって、上記光学的記録手段は、複数の照射スポット(T)が所定の方向に並んで形成されるように記録光(P)および参照光(Sa)を照射し、参照光入射角制御手段(9)は、複数の照射スポット(T)のうち、互いに隣接する一方の照射スポットを形成する際、参照光(Sa)の入射角をあらかじめ設定された複数の規定角度に合わせる制御を行うとともに、その他方の照射スポットを形成する際、参照光(Sa)の入射角を上記複数の規定角度とは異なる角度に合わせる制御を行う。
