Abstract

 走査型投射装置PJにおいては、光源装置1から射出される光を偏向素子3にて2次元的に走査、偏向し、投射光学系7を介してスクリーンSCに斜め投射する。スクリーンSCに対する入射角の範囲を適切に規定することにより、投射光学系7が画像観察の際の妨げとなることがなく、スポット形状の補正を困難にさせることもなくなる。また、垂直方向および水平方向における走査角度拡大倍率の比を適切に規定することにより、垂直方向と水平方向とにおける解像度の差を小さくすることができ、斜め投射であっても、高画質で良好な画像を表示することが可能となる。
