Abstract

Provided is a virtual reality environment creating device, which allows a player to experience a full tactile sense to touch a virtual object and a character of a game in a non-base type interface. The virtual reality environment creating device comprises a contents creating device (102) for creating contents on the basis of information from various sensors (108 to 111) and contents data (104), an illusionary tactile sense inducing device (103) for creating an illusionary tactile sense inducing function (1713) matching the contents by using illusionary tactile sense data (106), an illusionary tactile sense interface device (101) having an illusionary tactile sense device (107), and an illusionary tactile sense device drive control device (112) for driving and controlling the illusionary tactile sense device. The drag by the illusionary tactile sense is controlled according to the motions of the fingers and the body by utilizing the illusionary tactile sense, thereby to express not only a stereoscopic image and a stereophonic image but also the friction feel and the coarseness feel such as the presence, shape and texture of the virtual object.
