Abstract

　運転停止時に吸い込み開口をフラットパネルで完全に塞ぐことができ、運転時にはフラットパネルが安定した開姿勢を維持することができる空気調和装置の室内機を提供する。室内機（２）では、駆動ユニット（５０）が、運転時にフラットパネル（４）の軸受（４２）に軸（４３）を差し込み、メンテナンス時には軸受（４２）から軸（４３）を抜き取る。軸（４３）は、フラットパネル（４）を回動可能に支持するので、昇降ユニット（７）によるフラットパネル（４）の上昇及び降下が回動動作に変換され、フラットパネル（４）の姿勢を天井面に対して傾斜させることができる。その結果、運転時にフラットパネル（４）が本体に支持された状態で吸い込み開口２１を開くことができ、吸い込み空気の風圧によって姿勢が不安定になることが防止される。
