Abstract

 エレベータの巻上機においては、回転体がブレーキ装置により制動される。ブレーキ装置は、回転体に接離する方向へ変位可能な制動体と、制動体とともに変位される可動体と、制動体が回転体に接触する方向へ可動体を付勢する付勢体と、環状の電磁コイルと電磁コイルが設けられたフィールドとを含み、電磁コイルへの給電により、制動体が回転体から離れる方向へ可動体を変位させる電磁マグネットとを有している。フィールドは、電磁コイルの内側を通された内極部と、内極部に連続し電磁コイルの外側に配置された外極部とを有している。内極部及び外極部には、可動体にそれぞれ対向する内極対向面及び外極対向面が設けられている。磁気飽和となる磁束量は、外極対向面が内極対向面よりも少なくなっている。可動体及びフィールドには、外極対向面を避けて可動体と外極部との間で磁束を通す漏磁部材が対向している。
