Abstract

 3価クロムイオンを含む化成処理液によって得られた化成皮膜についての新たな6価クロムイオン溶出抑制手段を提供する。  0.1g/L以上のポリフェノールと、クロムイオン濃度換算で1.5g/L以上の水溶性3価クロム化合物とを含み、pHが6以下である化成処理のための組成物であって、部材の金属表面に当該組成物を接触させて形成された化成皮膜における、80°C,100%RHの環境に120時間暴露したときの6価クロム濃度が、EN15205に準拠した分析方法で得られる濃度として0.04μg/cm2以下である。このポリフェノールを0.1g/L以上含む組成物を、通常の化成処理によって得られた化成皮膜の後処理のための組成物として使用してもよい。
