Abstract

情報記録装置(1)は、記録型の情報記録媒体(100)のグルーブ部(106)に情報を記録する情報記録装置(1)である。上記情報記録媒体の記録面のうち少なくとも再生設定領域に含まれるランド部(105)には、光照射を受けて当該再生設定領域(101a)におけるプッシュプル信号の検出量を低下させるように光学的特性が変化する記録層(1122)が積層されている。そして、情報記録装置(1)は、少なくとも再生設定領域に含まれるランド部に対して一様に光照射を行う特性変更手段(202)を備える。
