Abstract

　本発明のメチル化シトシンの検出方法は、検体ＤＮＡ中のメチル化が予期されるシトシンを含む領域とハイブリダイズしかつ前記シトシンと相補的な位置に脱塩基部位を有するオリゴヌクレオチドと、検体ＤＮＡとをハイブリダイズさせる工程、前記工程で生成したハイブリダイズした検体ＤＮＡに、酸化剤を反応させて、メチル化されたシトシンが存在する場合に、該メチル化シトシンを酸化する工程、及び酸化されたメチル化シトシンを検出する工程を含む。
