Abstract

　飛翔体に搭載したレーダ装置から得られるレーダ画像データと、レーダ装置により撮影された地域の光学画像データを合成して、地物情報判読用画像を生成する際に、レーダ画像データを白黒パンクロマチック画像特性に近似する。そして、その白黒パンクロマチック画像特性に近似されたレーダ画像データと光学画像データの位置合わせを行い合成する。好適な実施形態として、レーダ画像データを白黒パンクロマチック画像特性に近似する処理において、レーダ画像データのヒストグラム特性に応じてヒストグラム変換処理を行う。
