Abstract

 n個の外接線と、n個の部分円弧または部分線と、2n個の直線状または円弧状の接続線とで囲まれた形状を有する金属缶用ブランクを金属缶の製造に用いる。外接線は、円に外接する正n角形のn個の辺における前記円との接点を中点とし、正n角形の1辺よりも短い線である。部分円弧は、前記円の周方向にて、外接線とそれに隣り合う外接線との間に位置する、前記円の円弧の一部である。部分線は部分円弧の両端部を結ぶ線である。接続線は、外接線の端部と、その最も近傍に位置する部分円弧または部分線の端部とを結ぶ線である。これにより、金属缶の材料歩留まり、生産性などが顕著に向上し、高品質の金属缶が得られる。
