Abstract

 一つの構造物としての高層ビル10を上部構造部12と下部構造部14とに区分けし、上部構造部12に設けられた、慣性質量ダンパー100により発生する増幅された慣性質量(擬似質量)によって、上部構造部12の全体の周期が伸長される周期伸長効果を利用し、上部構造部12の周期が下部構造部14の周期に同調するように制御することで、高層ビル10が制振されている。
