Abstract

 繊維質や砂分といった脱水し易い成分を多く含まない汚泥であっても、電気浸透脱水により、含水率60%以下にまで脱水することができる汚泥脱水方法。排水の生物処理で発生する汚泥を電気浸透脱水装置で脱水処理する方法において、鉄系無機凝集剤を該汚泥に添加して調質した後に該電気浸透脱水装置で脱水処理する。鉄系無機凝集剤としては硫酸第二鉄が好ましく、その添加量は汚泥のSSに対してFe換算で5~20重量%とすることが好ましい。
