Abstract

C-イオンRT後における泌尿器の晩期有害反応の発症を予測するためのDNAチップ及び予測方法を提供する。DNAチップは、DNAプローブを保持するための保持手段と、前記保持手段に保持された複数の遺伝子マーカーとを有する。予測方法は、遺伝子マーカーと、測定対象から調製した標識DNAとをハイブリダイズさせる第1ステップと、遺伝子マーカーとハイブリダイズさせた標識DNAの両対立遺伝子の塩基を特定する第2ステップと、特定した標識DNAの両対立遺伝子の塩基の組み合わせが特定の場合にリスク遺伝子型と判定し、当該リスク遺伝子型の数が3つ以上であれば放射線治療後における泌尿器の晩期有害反応が発症し易いと予測し、2つ以下であれば放射線治療後における泌尿器の晩期有害反応が発症し難いと予測する第3ステップとを含む。本発明によれば、放射線治療後における泌尿器の晩期有害反応となるか否かを予測することが可能となる。
