Abstract

 本発明の光遅延装置は、入力ポートに与えられるWDM光を分光光学系で波長毎に分離し焦点レンズで集光して各波長に対応した可動ミラーで反射する。各可動ミラーの反射面は、入射される信号光の出力先のポート位置および当該信号光に与える群遅延量に対応させて制御され、該反射面の角度によって決まる信号光経路を反射光が伝播する途中で、多重反射板等により信号光経路に応じた群遅延量が各波長の信号光に与えられ、該信号光が所要の出力ポートに導かれる。これにより、位相リップルの発生を抑えながら波長毎に異なる群遅延量を信号光に与えることが可能になる。
