Abstract

 複数の通信システムを跨ぐリセレクションを効率よく実施することにより電力消費を抑え、着信の取り漏らしを極力回避できる無線通信端末およびその通信システム捕捉制御方法を提供する。制御部18は、優先度の低い通信システムで待ち受けているとき、優先度の高い通信システムへの待ち受けに移行するリセレクション処理を起動する第1のリセレクションタイマ(長周期タイマ201)と、第1のリセレクションタイマより短い周期を有する第2のリセレクションタイマ(短周期タイマ202)とを有し、優先度の低い通信システムで待ち受けしているときに通信が行われる際、使用する基地局情報を記憶部17に登録し、通信が終了して待ち受けるとき、その基地局の基地局情報が記憶部17に登録されているか否かを判定し、記憶部17に登録されている場合、長周期タイマ201を用い、登録されていない場合に短周期タイマ202を用いリセレクション処理を実行する。
