Abstract
色判別装置を搭載した機器は、カメラや通信部などの画像入力手段である画像入力部(101)と、入力画像のうちから手書きした文字部分のみを抽出する手書き文字抽出部(102)と、手書き文字抽出部(102)により抽出した部分の判別値を求める判別値算出部(103)と、色判別用の判別値を記録しておく色判別記録部(104)と、判別値算出部(103)で求めた値と色判別記録部(104)に記録された値とを用いて、色の判別を行う色判別部(105)と、を持つ。また、外部とデータを送受信する通信部(106)を任意に有していてもよい。さらに、手書き文字抽出部(102)からのデータを元に光源の種類を判別する光源判別部(107)を任意に有していてもよい。これにより、色相値(H)が近い色の色判別を精度良く行うことが可能になる。
