If scoliosis is left as it is, a deformation of the vertebrae is advanced continuously, and severe deformity is ultimately caused by scoliosis. Due to the deformity, a complication such as a deformation of viscera and the like are caused, which makes it difficult to live daily life conveniently. This scoliosis can be completely recovered by mounting an assist device or performing a surgical operation according to a bent angle of the vertebrae.

If the rod and the iliac screw system are linked to each other through such a manner, it is possible to perform the surgical operation without an accurate alignment of the length and angle of the rod, an angle of the iliac screw system and the like.
  • a fixing unit to be linked to a rod and a screw inserted into an ilium are linked to each other by a linking member to enhance a degree of freedom. Therefore, there is an advantage in that the iliac screw system can facilitate the coupling with a rod without an accurate alignment and be conveniently installed regardless of various shapes of patient's body, thereby being used valuably for the various surgical operations for the spine.

Abstract

La présente invention concerne un système de vis iliaque, et plus particulièrement, un système de vis iliaque dont le degré de liberté a été amélioré par facilitation du couplage avec une tige pour relier les vis vertébrales, sans alignement précis entre le système de vis iliaque et la tige. Selon le système de vis iliaque de la présente invention, une unité de fixation à relier à une tige et une vis insérée dans un os iliaque sont reliées l'une à l'autre par un élément de liaison pour augmenter un degré de liberté. De manière avantageuse, ledit système de vis iliaque peut ainsi être facilement raccordé à une tige sans alignement précis et peut être installé de manière commode indépendamment des formes variables du corps d'un patient.
